WWE Rumors: Triple H To Win ‘Royal Rumble’ And Main Event ‘WrestleMania 32’ Against Roman Reigns

The 2016 Royal Rumble is just about three-and-a-half weeks away, and WWE doesn’t have much of anything planned for it yet. Well, they haven’t officially announced except for Big Show being in the match itself. Some rumors have flown around about who could end up winning the rumble match and going on to main event WrestleMania 32, but the latest rumor is a weird one, and it’s Triple H.

Some of the talk thus far has said that maybe Brock Lesnar would go on to win the match and take on Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. One of the latest rumors is that Daniel Bryan not only will return to the ring at the Royal Rumble, but win it all, too.

Maybe it’s not yet known, and maybe WWE is still working on all those plans and maybe it’s going to be someone else — maybe John Cena.

Well, former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas wrote for CSR Wrestling that The Rock announcing he will be at WrestleMania 32 is a huge deal around the world. He is right, but the “Great One” may not even end up wrestling and could just be making an appearance, like he did last year.

Now, The Rock may not be able to wrestle at the big event and it’s not entirely his fault. He’s filming a few movies next year, and the insurance of the movie may not allow him to take part in any physical action that could injure him and take him out of filming.

Some have thought that The Rock would face off with Triple H, but that doesn’t appear to be the way that Korderas thinks things will happen.

TribLive reports that Triple H could end up returning to the ring, but to teach Roman Reigns a lesson for all of the things he’s done to The Authority lately. Triple H would go on to face Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, and then have Cena vs. Reigns at WrestleMania 32.

Korderas sees things a little differently and believes Triple H will still play a huge role in trying to get Roman Reigns totally over with the fans.

The way he sees it, Triple H is going to enter the big 30-superstar match at the Royal Rumble, and he’s going to win the whole thing. This will get him the main event title shot at WrestleMania 32 against Reigns, and the two will face off there.

How that match goes is still not something that Korderas is sure of, but he may have an idea.

If things do end up going this way, it could really open up WWE to some new storylines and go a long way in getting Reigns over as a true babyface and champion. Going against Triple H and The Authority is the right thing to do, as the fans are going to boo them no matter what.

Korderas’ next suggestion is quite brilliant.

“With Mr. McMahon becoming an important piece of the puzzle these last few weeks, I can see Vince trying to make life miserable for Reigns for the time being but failing to accomplish his goal of taking the title from the champion. Then HHH returns with a vengeance to do the job himself. At WrestleMania, Hunter pulls out all the stops including enlisting the aid of others to help him. Everyone from the League of Nations to DX to J&J Security attempt to help the COO but run into a family roadblock. The Usos led by the Rock can come down to help their cousin fend off all the interference. Rock can do some limited physicality without too much risk of injury. The only thing is that Roman Reigns should be the only one to get his hands on HHH.”

Seeing the return of J&J Security and D-Generation X would be a great way to thrill the fans and get Reigns even more over with the fans. Having The Rock on his side, Reigns would truly have “The Family” supporting him if the Usos jump into the fray.

First, it’s going to be the Royal Rumble, and then a couple months later, WrestleMania 32. Triple H really could enter the rumble match, win it, and go on to main event the biggest wrestling event of the year. While some may think he’s just trying to get himself over, he really could be using himself to get over the new WWE Champ Roman Reigns.
