‘Glee’ Star Mark Salling In Possession Of Child Pornography Featuring Girls Under Age 10

The case of Glee star Mark Salling is getting creepier, as details of the investigation and arrest of Salling are being revealed. Salling is now out on bail, but the case is far from over. Salling’s family posted bail of $20,000 yesterday afternoon, and Salling was taken home by a family member.

According to the Inquisitr, Mark Salling’s home was searched, and the Glee actor was arrested after child pornography was found on his computer. A former girlfriend tipped off police that Salling was in possession of a variety of pornographic images of children. The raid of Salling’s home took place early in the morning, and Salling’s electronics are still being searched. Many of the images are explicit, and there are a great deal of them.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Mark Salling is out on bail, but had possession of pornography with children under ten involved in sex acts. The LAPD reported that their search of the actor’s home was fruitful.

“Authorities searched Salling’s computer and said they found more than a thousand images depicting children in sexual situations, among them kids younger than age 10.”

Police said that they found the images in Salling’s possession as “disturbing.” Possessing 600 images of child pornography can lead to five years in prison.

The LAPD is also saying that the home they raided does not belong to Salling, but rather his long time roommate, Jonathan Hernandez.

Us Magazine says that this is not Mark Salling’s first brush with the law, as he was arrested for sexual battery of a former girlfriend. A source says that Salling forced ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela to have sex.

“In 2013, ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela filed a lawsuit in which she claimed he committed sexual battery on her by forcing her to have sex without a condom. Salling later denied the charges and the case was settled.”

The Washington Post has detailed the fall of Mark Salling from Glee star to being arrested on child pornography charges. Social media shared opinions on Salling, and the prospect that he is involved is such revolting things.

“So sick of celebrities abusing their position as people who can influence the younger generation,” one Twitter user wrote. “The news about Mark Salling is sickening.” Another: “Disappointed to hear about the allegations against Mark Salling. I hope those who were victimized find closure.”

Police allegedly used a battering ram to get into the house to search for the illicit images. Calling spoke of the former charges of sexual battery, which he still denies.

“You hear about fraudulent lawsuits all the time,” Salling said at the time. “Until it happens to you, you really don’t grasp what it does, not to just you, but to your family … You just have to stay positive, and I personally have a relationship with Jesus Christ and I count on that myself.”

Salling has a court date at the end of January, and will face the charges of possessing child pornography, and possessing pornography with children under the age of ten. Salling is said to have come from a religious background in Texas, but if these charges are true, he has fallen a long way.
