Maci Bookout Engaged? ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star ‘Confused’
Maci Bookout has been a staple in reality television for seven years. She was first introduced during MTV’s 16 & Pregnant, and has filmed Teen Mom and now Teen Mom OG. Throughout the course of the last several years, Maci Bookout has made it no secret that she desires to be married and have a complete family. She had planned to marry Bentley’s father, Ryan Edwards, but broke off the engagement after their relationship was clearly not going to work. Since then, she has been exclusive with two other men, one of whom she is currently still dating. Maci Bookout wants to be engaged, so what is the hold up?
According to Us Weekly, Maci Bookout is confused about why Taylor McKinney has not asked her to marry him. The couple has been together since 2012, and welcomed a daughter this past May. While they are basically married, there has not been an official ceremony or proposal. Bookout has been incredibly vocal with McKinney about what she wants as far as a proposal and marriage. Last season on Teen Mom OG, McKinney was ring shopping for Bookout, which lead fans to believe he was ready to finally settle down. As of now, Maci Bookout is not officially engaged.

The last several years have been trying for Maci Bookout. She left Ryan Edwards to parent Bentley on her own, and while she has done an awesome job, Edwards has been playing games with her. After her relationship was over with Bentley’s father, Maci Bookout began dating Kyle. The two were together for a while, and even lived together. Kyle was a huge help with raising Bentley with Bookout, but the two didn’t seem to be meshing well as time went on. Now, Maci Bookout has been in a long-term relationship with Taylor McKinney, and seems to be stuck in the same spot doing repetitive motions. In footage shown for the new season of Teen Mom OG, Maci Bookout is shown telling Taylor McKinney he can end it if he wants. This is after the conversation turns from friendly banter to someone questioning him on whether or not he planned to marry Bookout.
Just a few months ago, Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney were present when fellow Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra got married. It was an emotional time for everyone involved, and it stirred up feelings for Bookout. She knows what she wants, and who she wants it with. After being with someone for three years and having a child together, the only right thing to do is to get married. Right now Bookout is ready to commit to McKinney for the rest of her life, but why doesn’t he feel the same?

A few days ago, Maci Bookout confirmed to OK! Magazine that she was not engaged to Taylor McKinney. This means that while he was ring shopping last season, he has not yet decided to settle down with Bookout. The two welcomed a little girl in May and have been doing a really great job making things work. Bookout just wants to have it all at this point in life, and she should. As the previews for the new season of Teen Mom OG are shown, it is clear Maci Bookout is fed up with waiting. If Taylor McKinney doesn’t propose soon, will Bookout continue to wait around?
The new season of Teen Mom OG will begin airing January 4 on MTV. Maci Bookout will be back to share her little girl with the world. Bentley has gotten so big and will be involved with filming this time around. Bookout still isn’t happy that Farrah Abraham is back, but she is allowing the show to film both her children. Fans hope that by the time Teen Mom OG finishes airing, Maci Bookout will be an engaged woman!
