Robert Pattinson Still Talking To Ex ‘Twilight’ Love Kristen Stewart Behind Fiancé FKA Twig’s Back?

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ holiday celebrations did not get off to a great start as more relationship woes continue to surface. In fact, an inside source recently told OK! Magazine that the British singer caught Pattinson talking with his former girlfriend and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart over the holidays. How did Twigs react to the news that Pattinson and Stewart are talking to each other again?

According to the insider, Twigs is “not the jealous type at all,” but she was “enraged” after finding out that Pattinson had called his ex-girlfriend. In particular, Twigs did not appreciate Pattinson calling Stewart without telling her about it.

“She confronted him about it straight away and he insisted it was just a good-will congratulations call about Kristin being in the Oscar race this year,” the source told the outlet. “[FKA Twigs] is not happy at all about this and isn’t really satisfied with his explanation.”

Pattinson and Stewart have a history together that originated during their time together on the set of the Twilight films. Although the couple were in a relationship for a number of years, they decided to end things in 2012 following Stewart’s controversial affair with Rupert Sanders.

According to Movie News Guide, Sanders was directing the film Snow White and the Huntsman when his affair with Stewart took place. Since fans were particularly infatuated with Robert Pattinson and Stewart continuing their on-screen relationship in real life, many fans were hurt when the two announced they were going to end their relationship.

In fact, a lot of fans blamed Stewart for the breakup even after her apology for the affair. Even still, many fans were unable to let go of the notion of Stewart and Pattinson and hoped that the two would eventually get back together.

Those hopes were seemingly crushed after Pattinson and Twigs got together and announced their engagement this past summer. That being said, it has been a while since the two became engaged, and with their wedding suffering from multiple delays, fans are once again holding out hope that Stewart and Pattinson will reignite their former love.

If the latest reports are true, then it would appear as though Pattinson might still harbor feelings for his ex-girlfriend. Although concrete evidence has yet to surface, the notion that Pattinson is still in love with Stewart is one reason why Twigs was so made with Pattinson talking to Stewart without her knowledge.

“[FKA Twigs] knows how hung up Rob was on Kristen and how hard it’s been for him to move on, so the fact that he’s gone and done this has totally unsettled her,” the source added in the interview.

However, Pattinson’s recent phone call to Stewart may have been a congratulatory nod at his former co-star and nothing else. After all, Stewart is currently in a relationship with her new girlfriend, Alicia Cargile. Would Stewart jeopardize her relationship with Cargile in order to get back with Pattinson?

At this point, it is hard to tell what is going on behind the scenes between Twigs and Pattinson. If Twigs truly is not the kind of person who gets jealous easily, then perhaps her relationship with Pattinson can move on past his latest slip up.

At the same time, Stewart appears to be happy in her relationship with Cargile. With things going well in Stewart’s career and personal life, it is not clear if she would be willing to give some of that up for a relationship with Pattinson. In the end, only time will tell if Pattinson remains with Twigs or if he returns to the arms of his Twilight co-star.
