Kylie Jenner Had An Insane Amount Of Likes On Instagram In 2015
Kylie Jenner recently revealed the nine most-liked pictures on her Instagram in 2015, and it turns out she has accrued an unbelievable number of likes in the past year.
For Jenner, 2015 has been a pretty big year. Not only did Kylie turn 18-years-old and graduate from high school, but she moved out on her own, as well as coped with her father’s transition from Bruce Jenner to Caitlyn Jenner.
Kylie has also had some big milestones in her relationship with her boyfriend Tyga. Because Kylie began dating Tyga while she was 17-years-old and he was 25-year-old, the two were finally able to be officially together when Kylie came of age. As US Weekly reports, Jenner broke things off with the rapper for a short while last month, but the couple are happy and back together.
The year was definitely a roller coaster for the youngest Jenner, but she was able to capture it all on her Instagram. Kylie used a website called 2015bestnine to see her nine most-liked pictures on Instagram, and it even displayed how many likes her pictures received altogether for the year of 2015. Jenner received a colossal 1,057,803,339 likes on her pictures for the year, which surpassed the amount her older sisters and her mom had accrued on the social media site.
The top nine pictures Kylie has include two bikini shots, one racy snap of her in a soaking wet dress, and a picture of her dressed in her cap and gown holding her diploma. The diploma picture, which accumulated 2.3 million likes alone, was the highest liked picture the youngest Jenner posted in 2015. As many likes as that is, her older sister Kendall Jenner had the most liked picture on Instagram of 2015.
Kylie wasn’t the only one in her family to have a crazy year, though. The entire Jenner-Kardashian clan experienced plenty of ups and downs. For one, Caitlyn Jenner’s transition affected the whole family, and was a huge thing that everyone had to come to terms with. Kris Jenner started dating Corey Gamble while her daughter Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick split after nine years. Khloe Kardashian went through the nightmare of almost losing Lamar Odom after he was found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West welcomed a baby boy into the world, and Kendall Jenner made leaps and bounds in her career as a model.
Despite her crazy year, however, Kylie managed to end it on a sweet note. In light of the holidays, Jenner made a donation to the L.A. LGBT Center, according to US Weekly. The center is a charity for homeless LGBT teens, and according to the report, the teens were incredibly thankful for the “Jenner-ous” donation Kylie made. Jim Key, chief marketing officer of the center, spoke about how Jenner reached out to the organization to see what they needed, snd she soon provided it.
“Someone from Kylie’s team reached out asking what types of things the LGBT youth need this type of year and they have a list of things, so they sent that over. They got a message saying that someone was going to drop off a bag, and it was wonderful. Three days later Kylie’s friend Victoria dropped off bags of goodies in the morning for the homeless youth that they serve.”
Apparently, Kylie didn’t make a big deal about it. All she wanted was to give to those who were in need. A source close to Jenner said that the act was completely her idea, and she just wanted to give back.
“She wanted to give gifts to kids who don’t have any gifts to open on the holidays. She fully did it on her own.”
It’s great to see that despite all of the ups and downs 2015 held for Kylie Jenner, she was able end the year with this act of kindness.
