Madonna Custody Battle Heats Up As She Says Guy Ritchie Trash-Talked Her To Rocco

The international custody struggle between Madonna and Guy Ritchie is now heating up, and Madonna says that Guy Ritchie has been trash-talking her to their son Rocco. Initially, the conflict seemed to be between Madonna and Rocco, but now, Madonna is pointing the finger at ex-husband Guy Ritchie for turning their son against her.

According to the Inquisitr, Rocco Ritchie took off when on tour with mother Madonna and ended up in London with his father, Guy Ritchie. Madonna went to court back in New York to regain custody of 15-year-old Rocco. In response, Guy Ritchie went to court in London to argue that Rocco should stay with him and not return to Madonna in New York. As of this post, Rocco Ritchie is still in the U.K.

TMZ is reporting that Madonna is not taking the Rocco situation lightly, as she is now taking on his father in the press.

“We’re told Guy and Madonna have had a ‘volatile’ relationship for years, and Rocco has been a source of conflict. Madonna, we’re told, is a strict disciplinarian and ‘very controlling’… something that doesn’t sit well with Rocco and for that matter most 15 year olds.”

Madonna is alleging that there was no real problem between herself and Rocco, but that on a visit, Guy Ritchie, angry with his ex, stoked the coals of conflict between Madonna and Rocco.

“We’re told Madonna isn’t worried… she’s confident Rocco’s coming back home for good, and this is just part of the co-parenting hand she’s been dealt.”

Page Six says that Madonna’s overshares on social media are part of the conflict with Rocco. Madonna has never been shy about sharing very personal things with her fans, but it seems that Rocco isn’t having it. Sources close to Madonna say she has finally crossed the line in violating Rocco’s privacy on Instagram.

“Whether it’s a picture of 15-year-old Rocco Ritchie in pigtails or a video of him doing a back flip into a pool with the caption, ‘Rocco’s preferred profile #nosausage,’ some speculate that Madge’s oversharing has sparked the rift that landed in Manhattan Supreme Court last week.”

Clearly not understanding Rocco’s issues with her overshares, Madonna continues to reach out to Rocco via Instagram.

“The two both made waves on Instagram Friday, with Madonna posting a picture of herself and Rocco with the message ‘Merry X-mas to the Sun-shine of my Life!’ and Rocco telling a friend he was staying in London before blocking his account from public view.”

The Daily Mail reports that Madonna is now dragging Guy Ritchie’s new wife into the battle. The two women have both been posting pictures on Instagram of their children and alleged “happy families.” Jacqui Ritchie posted her wedding photos with Rocco and Ritchie’s other son David, adopted by Guy Ritchie and Madonna. Madonna posted photos of all of her children in response.

“The model took to Instagram on Christmas day to share the image with the words ‘Happy holidays, with love from The Richies’ emblazoned upon the shot.”

This seemed to rankle Madonna, who posted photos of David and Lourdes all weekend. It seems the battle is on.
