Kim Richards And Children Celebrate Christmas At Kathy Hilton’s House

Kim Richards celebrated Christmas with her older sister, Kathy Hilton, over the weekend. On Saturday, Kim posted a photo of herself and her four children at Kathy’s house.

The photo shows Kim and her children standing in front of Kathy’s Christmas tree and decorations in the foyer. Kim expressed her gratitude and happiness for her children by stating that she’s “truly blessed” and is a “proud mom.”

Kathy’s daughter, Paris Hilton, posted several photos of the family reunion that night. One photo shows Paris with her aunt Kim, mom Kathy, and Brenda Richie, who is Nicole Richie’s mom. Paris and Nicole starred on the reality TV show The Simple Life together from 2003 to 2007.

Several people left comments on Paris’ photo asking her where her other aunt, Kyle Richards, is. Some even speculated that Kathy Hilton didn’t invite Kyle, who is not in any of the photos that Paris posted of the night, to the family get together. While it doesn’t seem as if Kyle was at Kathy’s house, her eldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, was. Another photo that Paris posted shows her with her younger sister, Nicky Hilton, Farrah, and another cousin, Brooke Brinson, who is Kim’s eldest daughter.

Ever since it was revealed on an earlier episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season that Kathy dis-invited Kyle to Nicky’s wedding to James Rothschild for a time, there have been many reports that the two women are still on bad terms with one another. Yet as The Inquisitr reported, Kyle and Kathy did see one another recently. Both women attended Kris Jenner’s annual Christmas Eve party on Thursday night. Kyle posted a photo of herself with Kathy and a friend, Faye Resnick, at the party. Kyle’s children and husband, Mauricio Umanksy, also attended the party.

In an earlier episode of Real Housewives, Kyle revealed to co-star Lisa Vanderpump that she no longer needed a dress to wear to Nicky’s wedding because she wasn’t going anymore. Kyle admitted that it was Kathy, whom she wasn’t on good terms with, who told her not to come.

“Obviously this is not something that makes me feel good but it’s Nicky’s day and my sister Kathy’s day, as the mother of the bride, so I have to respect her decision.”

Later, during Kyle and Lisa’s joint vacation in Italy, Kyle said that she was going to Nicky’s wedding after getting invited again, despite the fact that Mauricio and her two middle daughters still weren’t going. In an interview, Kyle said that Mauricio wasn’t going because of “tension” in the family. As for her two middle daughters, they didn’t receive invites because of a no-child policy at the wedding. Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, voiced their disgust that the entire family wasn’t invited.

As The Inquisitr reported, Kyle did end up going to Nicky’s wedding in London in July. Kyle’s eldest daughter, Farrah, was a bridesmaid while her youngest daughter, Portia, was a flower girl. While Kim did not attend the wedding, presumably because of her rehab stay, her eldest daughter, Brooke, did attend and served as a bridesmaid.

What is the story on the “tension” that Kyle mentioned when talking about why her husband wasn’t invited to the wedding? E! News reported that there is bad blood between Kathy’s husband, Rick Hilton, and Mauricio, which in turn has strained the relationship between Kyle and Kathy. A source explained that Rick feels as if Mauricio, who used to work for Rick’s real estate firm, stabbed him in the back when he left the agency to start his own one. Another source explained that Mauricio left Rick’s firm after Rick wouldn’t make him a partner despite him deserving the promotion.

Kyle Richards’ seesaw relationship with Kim Richards has also been touched upon on the current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although Kim isn’t a starring housewife this season, she will be making appearances in a few episodes later on in the season. Considering how much interest there is in Kyle and Kim’s sibling relationship, it’s likely that viewers will see them in at least one scene together this season.
