‘Pretty Little Liars’ Sasha Pieterse Engaged On And Off Screen — See The Photos
Pretty Little Liars star Sasha Pieterse has two things in common with her character Alison DiLaurentis now. Beyond sharing a fantastic sense of style on and off camera, Pieterse is also set to tie the knot sometime in the future.
The engagement was something fans only received a faint glimpse of at the end of Season 6A when DiLaurentis wrote “Mrs. Rollins” on the chalkboard in her classroom. The later coupling came earlier this week as Pieterse said yes when long-term boyfriend Hudson Sheaffer popped the question just before Christmas, MTV News reported.
Sasha announced the news to Pretty Little Liars fans on her Instagram account. The posts occurred Tuesday as the actress shared a photo of Hudson – an aspiring film industry artist – after the proposal. Pieterse wrote that it was “The best day of my life” as the caption for the photo, adding a ring emoji to clarify why it was such an amazing moment to share.
Hudson is a little-known aspiring actor. Sheaffer has few acting credits to his name, according to IMDb. His Twitter and Instagram pages are filled with Sasha Pieterse, unsurprisingly. Sasha and her beau have made time for each despite Pieterse filming Pretty Little Liars this month, according to recent Instagram posts.Although only a sliver of information is available for Sheaffer, plenty of information is available for her on-screen character’s husband. The Inquisitr previously reported on Alison’s husband with what information is known from Pieterse and teasing by the Pretty Little Liars cast at the New York Comic Con this fall.
The photos of the Pretty Little Liars actress and her future husband were taken by Jonnie and Garrett, a wedding photographer company out of Arizona, according to their profile page. A photo of the two was posted on the profile with a flattering caption.
Sasha isn’t the only person from Pretty Little Liars – which returns January 12 – who has had a busy time away from filming the popular TV series. Co-stars Shay Mitchell and Lucy Hale have been working toward their future careers once the series ends while Ashley Benson was spotted with Taylor Lautner during the downtime, sparking rumors of a possible relationship between the two actors.“Today’s proposal in the clouds. These two are a dream.”
Could Sasha and company’s futures include a movie? Pretty Little Liars Executive Producer I. Marlene King has hinted to a possible big-screen production after the series ends, which could come as early as Season 7 according to a report.
As for the immediate future for Sasha Pieterse and the other female lead actresses, snippets have shown how the girls have aged into women thanks to a five-year time jump during the hiatus between Seasons 6A and 6B. Other spoilers for the upcoming episodes have also been spilled thanks to a trailer and an Instagram post by another member of the cast.
As for the villain chasing Sasha Pieterse and the other pretty little liars, a new “Big Bad” is after the Rosewood squad this season. The new villain is out for blood and is extremely dangerous, King said in a recent article.
That’s a change from the previous villain that haunted Sasha Pieterse and her friends in the first seasons of the show. That villain was revealed in the finale episode of season 6A, showing that “A” was CeCe Drake/Charlotte DiLaurentis. The reveal caused a rift between fans of the show as some were unhappy with who finally was chosen by show producers as the role.
