Lamb Of God Frontman Randy Blythe Arrested For Manslaughter

Randy Blythe, the frontman for metal group Lamb Of God, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.

Blythe was arrested for an altercation in 2010 that he had with a fan. According to NME, Randy Blythe was arrested before Lamb of God’s show at Prague’s Hard Rock Cafe.

A translated statement reads:

“We have arrested the singer and charged him with the crime of bodily harm of 4th degree and resulting in the death of the fan.”

Spin Magazine reports that a fan rushed the stage at a Lamb of God concert in 2010. Blythe and the fan got in a fight and the fan later died from his injuries. Spin notes that there doesn’t seem to be any video evidence of the incident. People at the show have said that the fan was hit in the head with a microphone before he was removed from the stage by security.

A rep for the band said:

“Randy Blythe was falsely accused… There is a team of lawyers working on it and he will be exonerated.”

The band is currently touring the globe in support of their new album. The band cancelled the Prague show and will most likely put their tour on hold.
