WWE Rumors, Spoilers: ‘Raw’ Preview — Vince McMahon Is Back, John Cena Returns
WWE wants to finish out 2015 with a bang, and they’re going to do it by having the big boss show up once again. On tomorrow’s Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon will be returning and he will likely be addressing WWE Champion Roman Reigns giving him a Superman Punch last week, and will deliver some discipline. Spoilers have John Cena returning as well, and rumors state that much more could take place on Raw.
As the company gears up for the new year and January’s big event — the Royal Rumble — there is still one more Monday Night Raw to enjoy. WWE.com released their Five-Point Preview and it details all that fans can expect tomorrow night.
The Authority strikes back
In the past few weeks, Roman Reigns has brutally attacked Vince McMahon and Triple H while also embarrassing Stephanie McMahon. It would not be surprising to see The Authority put together a gauntlet that will not end well for the WWE Champion.
Will Cena get payback against Del Rio?
Back at Hell In A Cell at the end of October, John Cena issued another U.S. Open Challenge and it was answered by a returning Alberto Del Rio. After months of the challenge, Del Rio cleanly captured the United States Title and it was the last time Cena was seen on WWE television.
As reported by WrestleZone, Cena officially made his return on Saturday night at a WWE Live Event in Madison Square Garden. He faced off with Del Rio and won via disqualification when the champ gave a low blow and then Rusev interfered.
It looks like a Cena vs. Del Rio feud is on the books and set to begin on Monday.
Too little, too late?
The Divas division is in a bit of chaos lately with Charlotte coming to her friend’s side and helping her, but also confusing Becky Lynch by her actions. Look for more tension to be teased between the two friends while Team B.A.D., the Bellas, and Paige also join in on the fray.
Family first
Roman Reigns and his “Family” are looking to keep their good streak going, but they have a lot of enemies. The League of Nations is looking to decimate Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and the Usos as everyone wants to go into 2016 on a good note.
It looks like they could end up getting into a pretty big brawl on Monday night, but The Authority is likely going to interfere as well. The Family says they are ready for anything and everything, but the deck is probably going to be stacked against them.
Positive reinforcement
So, The New Day didn’t win the Slammy Award for Tag Team of the Year and lost to the Usos who didn’t even wrestle for half of the year. They still have the WWE Tag Team Titles and have been one of the most dominant teams during 2015 — or better yet, in a long time.
After defeating the Lucha Dragons on Super SmackDown this past week, who will step up to face off with The New Day for the titles? Could The Wyatt Family begin their takeover of everything by going after the tag belts on Monday?
It’s looking like the last Monday Night Raw of the year is going to be one filled with superstars, current and returning, while some trouble could come the way of the fan favorites.
Tomorrow’s Monday Night Raw is the final episode of 2015 and it looks like it is going to be a big one with Vince McMahon and John Cena both making their returns. WWE is going to want to end the year and usher in 2016 in a big way, so rumor has it that some surprises could be happening.
