Harry Styles Ignores Louis Tomlinson’s Birthday, Ruins Christmas Eve For Larries
Harry Styles was the only member of One Direction who “forgot” to publicly wish Louis Tomlinson a happy birthday on Christmas Eve, and this has made more than a few fans of the lads feel a bit sad during what is supposed to be a happy holiday. Directioners spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve Eve feverishly waiting to see if Harry Styles would publicly acknowledge his band mate turning 24 on the 24th, but the singer didn’t take a few seconds to tweet any birthday wishes for his old friend.
According to the Mirror, Harry Styles’ other band mates, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, tried to make up for his lack of a birthday greeting by letting Louis Tomlinson know that they hadn’t forgotten about him during their Christmas Eve festivities. Niall even hinted that he would be hanging with Louis soon, even though One Direction in currently on a break.
@Louis_Tomlinson happy birthday Tommo.. Have a great day and have a great Christmas, looking forward to seeing you mate. Xxxxc

Liam Payne decided to post his birthday message for Louis on Instagram instead of Twitter, and he acknowledged the fact that his friend has been running a bit wild lately. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Louis spent a crazy weekend in Chicago that included making out with multiple girls and getting a tattoo on his butt. Liam also revealed that he misses partying with his pal now that touring doesn’t require them to spend time together.
“Happy birthday man miss u bro hope ur having a good one wherever u are u mad man!!” Liam wrote. His message was accompanied by a photo of Louis grabbing his chest.
On December 23, One Direction fans took to Twitter to beg Harry Styles to wish Louis Tomlinson a happy birthday. Some fans pointed out that Harry hasn’t acknowledged his former BFF’s date of birth since 2012, and they also revealed how drastically things have changed since Harry first wished Louis a happy birthday on Twitter in 2010; Harry Styles actually referred to Louis Tomlinson as his “man crush” and his “hero” in a special birthday tweet for his bro.
Please Harry! Tweet something about the Louis’ birthday @Harry_Styles! #HappyBirthdayLouis #HappyLouisDay pic.twitter.com/cwMHBBskGn

Unfortunately for fans of Louis and Harry’s friendship, December 24 came and went without Harry Styles mentioning his bandmate’s birthday. Directioners were probably ready to argue that Harry was simply busy celebrating Christmas Eve with his family and didn’t have time to get on Twitter. However, Harry did find time to wish his fans a Merry Christmas on the social media site.
Merry Christmas to everyone for tomorrow. Hope it’s a lovely one well spent. Good tidings to all. H

The holiday wasn’t a “lovely one” for the fans who spent hours breathlessly waiting for Harry Styles to offer a shred of evidence that he and Louis are still good friends.
TBH ALL I WANTED FOR CHRISTMAS WAS HARRY TO TWEET LOUIS HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Back in October, the Sun made a claim that outraged Directioners. According to the tabloid, One Direction was going on a hiatus because of a falling out between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. A One Direction insider told the Sun that Harry and Louis ended their friendship in 2012, which, as pointed out above, just so happens to be the last time Harry Styles sent out a happy birthday tweet. The guys abruptly called off their bromance for a mysterious reason that only they know about, and they’ve reportedly barely been able to tolerate each other ever since.
“It was very serious and their friendship has never recovered. Everyone involved in the band is well aware of the animosity between them.”
The Sun report claims that Harry and Louis couldn’t even stand flying in the same jet together and that Harry wouldn’t attend events with Louis unless “unofficial peacekeeper” Niall Horan was around to make sure that no drama would go down.
If the report is true, perhaps those persistent “Larry Stylinson” rumors played a part in the demise of Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles’ close friendship. Harry and Louis have long been plagued by rumors that they’re involved in a secret gay relationship, and Louis has admitted that the “Larries” who believe this were affecting the way that he could interact with Harry. During a 2012 interview with Tumblr’s Storyboard, Louis begged fans to stop claiming that he and Harry were gay.
“This is a subject that was funny at first but now is actually hard to deal with, as I am in a relationship,” Louis said, according to the Mirror. “Me and Harry are best friends. People look into our every move – it is actually affecting the way me and Harry are in public.”
Louis later tweeted that Larry Stylinson was “the biggest load of bulls***;” he and Harry Styles have stopped sharing sweet tweets about one another like the famous “always in my heart” tweet that Larries love so much.
Harry Styles never spoke out against Larries, like Louis Tomlinson did, and never said that the gay rumors bothered him. Perhaps the boys had a falling out over the very different ways that they responded to all the fan speculation about their sexual orientations.
Do you think Harry Styles didn’t wish Louis Tomlinson a happy birthday because he’s no longer friends with his bandmate?
