Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile, And Rosie Pierri Attend Christmas Party
Filming for Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey seems to be well underway. On Monday, Melissa Gorga posted a photo of herself at a holiday party with Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile, and Rosie Pierri. Also in the photo are some of the women who have reportedly joined the cast for the new season.
On Sunday, NorthJersey.com reported that Real Housewives insider Tom Murro stated that filming for the new season mostly began last week, with some footage of Melissa at her new clothing boutique ENVY filmed before then. According to Tom, the starring cast members for Season 7 are Teresa Giudice, Melissa, and Jacqueline.
“Everyone else is part time with an option of full time if they perform,” he said.
“Everyone else” includes Kathy, Rosie, Dolores Catania, Robyn Levy and her wife Christina Flores, and Siggy Flicker.
On Tuesday, one of the reported new cast members, Dolores, posted the same Christmas party group photo to her Instagram page. Dolores also posted a photo of herself with another reported new cast member, Siggy.
Jacqueline explained that Siggy was at the Christmas party as well but left before the group photo was taken.“These are some of the most beautiful people in my life that have been such a great support system for me! Love these girls!! (The Sig is missing from this pic! She had left at this point. We love @siggy.flicker too!)”
Bravo has yet to make an official announcement on the cast. Teresa, who reported to prison on Monday, January 5, is set to be released on Wednesday, December 23. Teresa’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr., confirmed to NorthJersey.com that he’ll be picking her up and driving her home. He also explained that she’ll be on home confinement until early February, followed by two years of supervised release.
“Here’s what I can tell you … she’s getting released on Dec. 23, I don’t know exactly what time. I will be picking her up and driving her home. When she comes home, she will be on home confinement, until Feb. 5. During that period, she will be able to work, she will be able to take care of business, medical [things]. She’ll be out and about. And then when that period ends, she will begin a period of supervised release. The sentence that she got was two years of supervised release.”
Teresa’s lawyer did not confirm whether she has signed back on for Real Housewives. However, he did say that she would be permitted to film.
“If she were to re-sign with Bravo, she would be permitted to film the show … That’s how she supports her family.”
Teresa’s lawyer also said that she will be able to attend family events once she’s out.
“[Teresa will] be allowed to attend family events, so long as everything she does is communicated with the [person supervising her release]. If she wants to go to church or do things like that, she will ask permission.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Teresa Giudice, along with Joe Giudice and their four daughters, are supposedly spending Christmas Eve at her brother and sister-in-law’s home. Joe and Melissa Gorga are hosting a traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner at their home. Melissa called everyone being able to be together on Christmas Eve a “blessing.”
It remains to be seen whether Dina Manzo, who was a starring housewife on Real Housewives for its first two seasons and then returned for its sixth season, will do another season. Although Dina moved to Southern California after filming the sixth season, she still retains an apartment in New York City, so perhaps viewers will still see her pop up in episodes every now and then? As the Inquisitr reported, Dina is currently spending the holidays on the East Coast. She recently spent some time with Teresa’s family, as evidenced by her photos with Teresa’s youngest daughter, Audriana. Dina is Audriana’s godmother.Yet Jacqueline Laurita’s presence on Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey may preclude Dina Manzo’s participation. On the Season 6 reunion show, Dina, who is Jacqueline’s sister-in-law, said that she would never do a reality TV show with family ever again.
