Is Selena Gomez Stuck In Love Triangle With Niall Horan and Justin Bieber?
Selena Gomez and Niall Horan are rumored to be dating, or is the “Same Old Love” singer using the One Direction band member to get over Justin Bieber?
Both of those rumors have only intensified thanks to Niall Horan admitting he would marry Selena Gomez in a segment for the Late, Late Show and its host James Corden, according to the Christian Post.
Hollywood Life claims these are merely rumors, however. The real reason Selena Gomez and Niall Horan are hanging out together is to help the “Good For You” singer cope with the relationship brewing between Justin Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian, the website reported.
“Thank God [Selena] has Niall to help keep her busy, this way she can focus on her own love life instead of trying to keep up with Justin’s.”
Both pop star Selena Gomez and One Direction band member Niall Horan attended a birthday party for actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum earlier this month, and the pop stars ended their night kissing on the dance floor. According to the Los Angeles Times, the birthday party took place at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles and Selena Gomez and Niall Horan spent the whole night together. They were seen kissing in the middle of the club and danced for the majority of the party. At the end of the night, the new couple reportedly left together.
In addition to their dancing ways, Selena Gomez and Niall Horan spent the earlier part of the day together. Selena Gomez and One Direction performed at radio station KIIS FM 102.7’s Jingle Ball at the Los Angeles Staples Center. Selena Gomez sang songs from her latest record, Revival. For Niall Horan’s band, One Direction, their performance acted as a finale of their U.S. tour before they go on hiatus next year.
While One Direction finished before Selena Gomez took to the stage, Niall Horan stayed on to see her perform. They then left the concert together before heading to Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s birthday party.
The following day, Selena Gomez and Niall Horan were again spotted together, this time at the Santa Monica Pier. As Hollywood Life reports, Selena Gomez and Niall Horan went on roller coaster rides and played carnival games before indulging in some ice cream. Selena Gomez ordered rainbow sherbet while Niall Horan opted for Rocky Road. The two seemed very flirty with each other, giggling and tasting each other’s ice cream.

While Taylor may be happy Selena Gomez and Niall Horan are finally hooking up, count ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber among those who are not very happy about it. After Justin Bieber was caught singing to Selena Gomez in a hotel bar last month, it looked like the couple were close to reconciling. However, recent events suggests Selena Gomez has chosen to pursue Niall Horan instead.
In an attempt to re-direct Selena Gomez back to him, Justin Bieber has taken to social media to try to remind her of their past. As People noted, Justin Bieber posted a picture of himself holding hands with Selena Gomez on Instagram, a picture that was taken back when they were in a relationship together. The caption for this picture was “crazy throwback.”
Whether Selena Gomez will publicly acknowledge this new romance is unlikely. In a recent interview with InStyle, she was very open about her dislike for discussing former boyfriend Justin Bieber,
“It’s really hard because I’m a nice person. I’m just tired of talking about it. I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story.”
Selena Gomez also discussed how awkward dating can be for a famous person.
“It’s hard and I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has googled me before we meet, and that has happened. I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys.”
Selena Gomez appears to be happy with potentially new boyfriend Niall Horan, and hopefully Justin Bieber can see that happiness and move on from posting throw back photos.
