Kelly Clarkson Hints At Baby’s Name In ‘Game Of Thrones’ Inspired Holiday Card
Kelly Clarkson and her family are stealing the spotlight from the Kardashians with this epic Christmas card.
Kelly Clarkson shared a picture of her family’s Christmas card, which is done in the style of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The 33-year-old singer and her family members are dressed in attire similar to characters in the HBO show, with a Game of Thrones–themed castle in the background, according to People.
The caption to the Christmas card shared via Instagram said, “Merry Christmas from the Blackstock clan! #gameofthrones #winteriscoming #riverisnotworried.”
All the family members keep their faces straight, while dad Brandon Blackstock is photographed holding his and Kelly Clarkson’s 17-month-old daughter River Rose, while the singer has her hand on Seth, Blackstock’s son from another marriage. The photograph also includes Savannah, the oldest daughter from Blackstock’s other marriage.

The classic Game of Thrones tagline – “winter is coming” – is included just above the family’s last name, Blackstock, which might also be interpreted as Kelly Clarkson’s idea for her future baby’s name – Winter, according to People. Clarkson also included the hashtag “#riverisnotworried.”
Kelly Clarkson announced her pregnancy with her and Blackstock’s second child together back in August at one of her concerts. The American Idol winner is expecting a boy next year, according to the Daily Mail.
During a Los Angeles concert on her “Piece by Piece” tour in August, Kelly Clarkson announced the big news during a song that made her cry and think about her father. The country singer said the announcement was spontaneous.
“I was not planning on announcing this, but… I’m totally pregnant. I’m having a really hard time.”
Kelly Clarkson later confirmed her own words said at the concert by posting an Instagram picture with the soon-to-be big sister, and writing in the caption “River’s gonna have a little baby brother ? #itsaboy We’re so excited!”
Last month, Kelly Clarkson revealed on CBS This Morning that her morning sickness is actually quite serious, according to the Daily Mail.
The 33-year-old expectant mom said she has to have fluids via an IV line because she gets dehydrated.
“It’s really bad. I couldn’t get through it and I was crying so hard.”
Kelly Clarkson also explained why she’d decided to share the news about her pregnancy during one of the concerts.
“I thought, ‘These people are going to think I’m on drugs. I’m about to lose it like a pregnant person. I gotta explain.’ And then it just came out.”
It’s totally a good year for Kelly Clarkson, as the “Stronger” hitmaker has recently been nominated for the Grammy Awards. The singer was so excited about the news, she took it to Twitter to share her happiness with the fans, according to the Daily Mail.
Woke up to 2 Grammy nominations!! ? Thanks everybody who nominated me and congrats to all the other nominees!

Kelly Clarkson’s Piece By Piece album scored the signer a nod for Best Pop Vocal Album, while she is also nominated in Best Pop Solo Performance for “Heartbeat Song.”
Kelly Clarkson also congratulated all the other nominees in her tweet the next morning after the nominations announcement.
Lady Gaga, meanwhile, received a nomination for “Til It Happens To You,” written alongside Diane Warren for documentary The Hunting Ground, about campus rape.
