Justin Bieber delivered a flawless rendition of “Sorry” when he performed during the Season 9 finale of The Voice on Tuesday.
The denouement of NBC’s singing competition also featured turns from Usher, Missy Elliot, Coldplay, Sam Hunt, and The Weeknd.
Bieber was the last star artist to thrill the audience before contestant Jordan Smith, who went into The Voice finale as the favorite, was crowned the winner.
The Canadian superstar kicked off his “Sorry” performance by stripping the song back to basics.

The 21-year-old sang an emotive bridge and verse accompanying himself at a grand piano before dancers joined him onstage for a full-on dance sequence.
The Biebs and his back-up dancers stomped through the island-flavored number .
At the end, he walked alone to the back of the now empty stage while the audience showed their appreciation.
We’ll leave it to readers to decide if Bieber topped his heavens-are-falling performance of “Sorry” at the recent American Music Awards in November when gallons of water gushed onstage during his closing set.
“Sorry” is currently No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart and U.K., and is the second single from the Biebs’ critically acclaimed Purpose album, which is now a platinum seller in the U.S. and elsewhere.
After performing a number of songs during the marathon show, which included duets with Wynona Judd, Ricky Skaggs, and Tori Kelly, The Voice finale contestants — Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Roberts, Jeffrey Austin, and Barrett Baber — looked visibly nervous as they waited to find out who had won.
As expected, Smith, from Team Adam (Levine), took the crown. Roberts, from Team Blake (Shelton), was second. Baber, also Team Blake, came third, and Austin from Team Gwen (Stefani) positioned fourth.
Fellow judge Pharrell Williams didn’t have any contestants left in the finale. Smith closed out the show, as he opened it, with a magical rendition of The Sound of Music’s “Climb Every Mountain.”
Previous Season 9 contestants were also brought back last night, including Zach Seabaugh, Madi Davis, and Mark Hood.
Bieber certainly seemed to be in the mood to enjoy himself at the finale. The hitmaker arrived at NBC’s studio lot atop the roof of an Escalade.

The heartthrob was later spotted jamming songs at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. Manager Scooter Braun was with him. The young star then partied at the 1Oak club with some of his his dancers and pals.
Meanwhile, ahead of Bieber’s 2016 “Purpose World Tour” , more U.K. dates have been added due to huge ticket demand. Following last week’s announcement of European dates, which extends the previously announced 64-city North American leg, two more concerts at London’s O2 Arena have been loaded on, as well as two extra dates in Glasgow.
