The Season 13 NCIS fall finale airs Tuesday night on CBS, and viewers have quite the episode ahead of them. There is relationship talk for some, and a fan favorite character is facing a dangerous situation. What NCIS spoilers are available for the December 15 show? When will new episodes begin again?

TV Guide teases that during this episode titled “Spinning Wheel,” Ducky will be attacked by someone. NCIS spoilers detail that a man will approach him and claim that he has information about Ducky’s half-brother Nicholas who passed away years ago. Dr. Mallard will realize that the man didn’t have any relevant information, but the scenario turns complicated when someone ends up dead.

Ducky ends up in a difficult situation as a result of this contact, and the team soon makes an interesting connection between the doctor and a mysterious death. Viewers will see Ducky looking back to the last days he had with his brother before his death. Also ahead in Tuesday’s fall finale, NCIS spoilers share that Jake and Bishop will be talking about where their relationship is headed.

The team had never been aware that Dr. Mallard had a younger brother, and Gibbs will be asking him about this situation as the team digs into the case. Mallard will share that his younger brother had died, but the case takes some twists and turns that soon reveal that Ducky’s brother may not be dead after all.

Though fans have seen some flashbacks involving the doctor and his brother before, there are more on the way in this episode. It seems some additional insight into Mallard’s life will be revealed and these teasers about a Ducky-centered episode have fans pretty excited.

Previews tease that there are big secrets swirling in “Spinning Wheel” and NCIS spoiler promos reveal that the dead man in the alley where Ducky is found was seemingly a Marine. Just how are the two men tied together and how does that connect to the doctor’s presumed-dead brother?

As for Bishop, there are some comical moments ahead on this front. Tony will be watching Bishop from afar, trying to figure out how her discussion with Jake went. As it turns out, Tony was standing in a spot that allowed for her to hear every word of his conversation with McGee about her. As for the outcome of her talk with Jake, viewers will have to tune in to see the specifics.

While it is not known quite yet whether there will be a big cliffhanger at the end of Tuesday’s fall finale or not, viewers will have a bit of a break now before new episodes begin again. When can fans expect NCIS Season 13 to resume? According to TVLine, the Season 13, Episode 12 show airs on CBS on Tuesday, January 5. That is good news, as viewers will only have to hang tight for a few weeks.

Fans love the character of Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard and cannot wait to see an episode revolving around his story. Viewers are already buzzing about how they hope he doesn’t die in this fall finale, and luckily it looks like he won’t be in jeopardy for long. However, this is said to be an emotional episode that fans won’t want to miss. NCIS airs Tuesday nights on CBS.
