Ryan Gosling On What He Looks For In A Woman

Ryan Gosling absolutely loves his wife. In his latest interview with Hello!, the Place Beyond the Pines actor revealed his limitless passion for Eva Mendes, who co-starred with him in the movie, according to People.

“I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with.”

Ryan Gosling also described the kind of qualities he looks for in a perfect woman. He said the one quality is that “she is Eva Mendes,” and “there’s nothing else [he’s] looking for.”

While that’s bad news for all women on the planet except Eva Mendes herself, the good news is that Ryan Gosling’s female fans can still be happy that the 35-five-year-old actor is “madly in love” with their daughter, while Eva Mendes has never been happier with their little family, according to People.

“She’s never been happier. She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created. It’s a really special time for them.”

Ryan Gosling and his 41-year-old wife have been dating since 2011, and first met on set of The Place Beyond the Pines. The couple has a one-year-old daughter, Esmeralda Amada.

Ryan Gosling also revealed that he is spending this holiday season with his little family, and that he is very excited about it.

“This will be our first Christmas where [Esmeralda] is sort of taking it all in, so that’s exciting.”

A recent Saturday Night Live episode felt like a Canadian-themed night with host Ryan Gosling singing about Molson beer, the seal hunt, and tuques, according to CBC News.

Ryan Gosling, who is of Canadian origin, started his opening monologue by announcing that he was glad to be back in his hometown of New York City for the holidays. Then, Ryan Gosling was joined on stage by fellow Canadian and Saturday Night Live alumnus Mike Myers wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey. As the two joked about Canada, they couldn’t have not mentioned Justin Bieber. Bieber was mentioned among things Canadians are proud of, along with “our hunky new Prime Minister Trudeau” and Degrassi Junior High.

Then, Ryan Gosling said he was sorry for downplaying the level of Canadian-ness within him. Myers started mocking the 35-year-old actor’s accent. Over-emphasizing Gosling’s American pronunciation of the word “sorry,” Myers asked “Sarry?”

Attending Saturday Night Live‘s after-party, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake spent a good deal of time catching up, according to ET.

The childhood pals met as Ryan Gosling finished hosting Saturday Night Live, and Timberlake was one of the attendees of the show’s after-party at Dos Caminos restaurant in New York City. According to ET, the pair “sat together all night.”

The “What Goes Around, Comes Around” singer, who has hosted Saturday Night Live five times, was wearing simple jeans and boots, while Ryan Gosling came to the after-party with his wife Eva Mendes. The two actors were especially close during their work on The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993. Moreover, Ryan Gosling at one point lived with Timberlake, and the 34-year-old singer’s mom, when his own mother had a work trip in Canada.

Rolling Stone notes that the latest Ryan Gosling-hosted Saturday Night Live episode did not quite “get going.” Although Saturday Night Live fans know that Gosling can deliver a better performance, the show didn’t really know how to use the Place Beyond the Pines actor this time.

However, the magazine still lists a couple of Saturday Night Live sketches with Ryan Gosling that are still worth watching, including “Santa Baby,” “Close Encounter,” and “The Wiz.”
