Kyle Richards’ Husband Mauricio Umansky To Join ‘MDLLA’ Or Star In His Own Reality Show?

Will The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ husband soon star in his own reality show or perhaps become one of the stars of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles? On Thursday, the night the MDLLA season 8 finale episode aired, Mauricio Umanksy indicated on Twitter that he’s open to being on TV more.

A viewer tweeted that Mauricio, who sometimes appears on MDLLA, should be on the show more. Mauricio expressed his agreement and willingness to be on the show more by replying to the tweet with three thumbs up emojis.

Mauricio also retweeted a fan’s tweet stating that The Agency, the real estate firm that Mauricio founded in 2011, should have their own reality TV show.

David Parnes and James Harris, two of the stars of MDLLA, actually work at The Agency as real estate agents. David and James joined the show during its seventh season. The finale episode that aired on Wednesday night showed David and James negotiating with a client who threatened to walk away. It also showed David sharing the good news with James that his girlfriend has accepted his marriage proposal. Photos from the moment David proposed to his girlfriend during a vacation in Capri were shown. In a previous episode, David asked James to be his best man at the future wedding and showed him the engagement ring that he purchased for the proposal.

In response to a fan who praised David and James as real estate agents, Mauricio agreed that they are the best.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Altman’s fiancee, Heather Bilyeu, who frequently appears on the show, also has a connection with The Agency. As viewers saw on the beginning seasons of the show, she first worked for Madison Hildebrand. She then joined Mauricio’s real estate firm in 2012. She now works at Josh’s firm, The Altman Brothers.

Mauricio Umansky appears much more on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While the drama is usually centered around the women of the show, Tuesday night’s episode revealed that Mauricio has some drama of his own. During a family vacation in Tuscany, which Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd joined in for, it was revealed that Mauricio was not going to niece Nicky Hilton’s upcoming wedding to James Rothschild in London. Kyle Richards explained in an interview that Mauricio was not going because there has been lots of “tension” in the family.

Kyle herself was initially uninvited to the wedding, a decision that she revealed came from her sister Kathy Hilton, Nicky’s mom. However, Kyle later received an invite and made the decision to go, despite the fact that Mauricio wasn’t going and her two middle daughters, Sophia and Alexia, weren’t going either because of a no-child policy at the wedding. Lisa implied that she wouldn’t go to a wedding if Ken wasn’t allowed to go. Ken expressed bewilderment at the fact that some of the cousins couldn’t go. Kyle said that Mauricio told her to go to the wedding. Mauricio agreed that Sophia and Alexia’s exclusion from the wedding was “unfortunate.”

In her interview, Lisa, who has known Rick and Kathy Hilton for a long time, commented that there is a lot of tension between Mauricio and Rick.

On Wednesday, E! News reported that Mauricio is banned from all Hilton events due to resentment and possible backstabbing over business. Mauricio used to work for Rick’s real estate firm, Hilton & Hyland. One source said that Rick and this team wouldn’t make Mauricio a partner at the firm despite the fact that Mauricio deserved the position.

“Rick and his team wouldn’t make Mauricio a partner, even after years of working there and a lot of success. So he left. Now, Mauricio is not welcome at any Hilton events. It puts Kyle in a terrible position because she always has to choose between her husband and her older sister.”

Another source added that Mauricio back stabbed Rick, who gave Mauricio his first real estate job.

“Rick did everything for Mauricio to get him started, he gave him clients, he introduced him to people. And then when Mauricio set up his own company, he did it covertly and informed Rick via email. Mauricio was not made a partner as he was not being 100 percent above board and so there were trust issues. Finally, once Mauricio’s new company was set up, Rick and Mauricio came to a gentleman’s agreement that they would not go after each others’ agents, but then Mauricio went back on that promise and tried to poach staff. It’s a huge mess.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kyle Richards denied on Tuesday that her husband Mauricio Umansky stole clients from her brother-in-law’s firm to start his own firm. Some people believe otherwise. In June, Brandi Glanville tweeted that Mauricio “f**k[ed] up” Rick’s business.
