‘Real Housewives’ Kyle Richards Battling Sister Kathy Hilton About Wedding And Sister Kim
Has Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Kyle Richards ignited a battle with her older half sister, Kathy Hilton? On this week’s Real Housewives, Kyle’s invite, then rescinded invite, and then the invite of half of her family was included, and left viewers with the idea that Kyle Richards’ sister is petty for at least disinviting two of her nieces from her daughter Nicky’s wedding. Is this all about Richards’ new scripted series that will air some of the Hilton/Richards dirt, or is there more to the story?
Over the last few years, taking care of and watching out for sister Kim Richards has been a full time job for Kyle, but she has allegedly decided that her checkbook is closed to Kim, and she is now Kathy Hilton’s responsibility. According to the Inquisitr, these sibling squabbles are nothing new to the Richards sisters. All three were raised by an alcoholic, and Kim and Kyle started working full time to support the family.

Radar Online is reporting that when Kathy Hilton saw that the controversy surrounding the invite/disinvite to Nicky’s wedding, she lost it.
“An insider said the gloves are off after Kyle brought up the drama surrounding her niece Nicky Hilton’s London wedding on Tuesday’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
When the controversy made the show, Hilton got upset, and the whole drama started again. But after those inside details showed up on air, Nicky’s mom Kathy, Kyle’s sister, “was absolutely fuming!” the insider said.
A friend of Hilton’s insists that Richards wanted to make everything about her, and so her presence was a disruption.
“This was her daughter’s wedding, and should only have been about Nicky. Kyle wants to constantly make everything about her, and it was a total disruption during the festivities to have her attend… The fact that this showed up on RHOBH is just another betrayal according to Kathy,” the insider continued. In fact, the bad blood goes back years.

E! Online is reporting that Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky is now banned from all Hilton events, but why were his daughters cut out? It seems it all has to do with Umansky, Rick Hilton, and the real estate profession.
“Rick and his team wouldn’t make Mauricio a partner, even after years of working there and a lot of success. So he left,” one source tells E! News. “Now, Mauricio is not welcome at any Hilton events. It puts Kyle in a terrible position because she always has to choose between her husband and her older sister.”
The rumor was put out there that Umansky “stole business” from Hilton, but now word comes that Umansky was being held back because of “trust issues.” But it seems that Kyle Richards’ new television pilot is still a sore spot with Kathy Hilton, who would prefer to hide certain aspects of the Richards childhood.
“Kyle was initially uninvited to Nicky’s wedding because of Kathy. There was a lot of tension over the TV pilot Kyle has in development that’s based on her life growing up with her sisters,” the insider tells us.
Allegedly, Hilton then did what she does best, and threatened her sister Kyle with legal action.
“Kathy even sent her a legal notice about it without any warning. Kathy did not want to come off negatively. So that’s why, for a period of time, Kyle was not going to Nicky’s wedding. She was disinvited at the end of June, just weeks before the wedding. Nicky and Kyle are close, but Nicky deferred to her mom.”
Since this is the beginning of the Real Housewives season, more Richards/Hilton drama is yet to come.
