Did Kathy Hilton Ban ‘RHOBH’ Kyle Richards From Attending Nicky Hilton’s Wedding?

Did Kathy Hilton tell Kyle Richards that it wasn’t a good idea for her to attend the wedding of her daughter, Nicky Hilton? Before tonight’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, fans were wondering who it was that didn’t want her there, and why they were against the idea.

While fans will have to wait until the December 8 episode, the second of the sixth season, airs on Bravo, to find out who it was that didn’t think Kyle should attend the wedding, it is possible that it was Kathy Hilton made the decision. As the mother of the bride, Kathy Hilton surely didn’t want any drama at her wedding and could have told her not to come so that she and Kim wouldn’t come to blows. Or, Kathy Hilton could have made the decision due to her own alleged feud with her sister.

In September, after Kathy Hilton and her family celebrated Kim’s birthday without Kyle, rumors of a feud swirled. However, despite how things looked from the outside, Kathy Hilton claimed there was no bad blood between them. Below is what Kathy Hilton wrote in the comments section of a photo shared on Instagram, according to a report by Design & Trend.

“There is no sibling war between Kyle and I over Kim. We are all a family and love each other very much, no one is fighting over anyone. The reason I wasn’t at Kim’s birthday celebration on the 19th [of September] if you must know is because one of my friends, since I was six years old, died of brain cancer the night before.”

Months prior, news of a feud between Kathy Hilton and her reality star sibling, who returns to the show in a full-time role following Kim’s demotion, was revealed by Brandi Glanville on Twitter. As Reality Tea reported at the time, Kathy Hilton’s husband was feuding with her sister’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, leading the two women into a war of their own.

Below is what Glanville tweeted of Kyle’s feud with Kathy Hilton:

“[Kyle Richards] #truthcannon your husband use to work for [Kathy Hilton]’s husband until he secretly stole agents & clients to start the Agency #STFU… Talk about me, call me a liar, which I am not- you will get it back. To talk s–t about me 4 not being back after all I have done & put up with from her is gross.”

Kathy Hilton didn’t appear to speak out in regard to Glanville’s tweet, but in the past, she and Glanville have spent time together with Kim, hinting they were all close. Meanwhile, Glanville hates Kyle and makes it no secret despite her closeness with other family members.

Although Kathy Hilton didn’t weigh in on Glanville’s tweet, Glanville reportedly received a legal threat from her sister. However, months after the tweets were shared, nothing seems to have come of her potential lawsuit.

For the last several seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kathy Hilton has been rumored to be in talks to join the show, but aside from a few guest appearances here and there, she has not yet done so, and she doesn’t appear to have any future plans to join the series in a full-time or part-time role.
