‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Star Charlie Hunnam Makes Rare Public Appearance With Longtime Love Morgana McNelis

Although Charlie Hunnam is normally very secretive when it comes to his life away from the cameras, fans were recently treated to a glimpse of his personal life. According to the Daily Mail, the Sons of Anarchy star made a rare appearance at a party with longtime girlfriend Morgana McNelis, whom he barely talks about in interviews, let alone takes out in public.

However, that all changed when the Pacific Rim star and McNelis were spotted leaving a Hollywood event being hosted by Jennifer Klein. Luckily, a few photos were taken of the couple as they exited the party.

In the photos, Hunnam is seen wearing an old style dark blue sweater, complete with dark blue jeans and a flat cap. Hunnam was also rocking a pair of grey sneakers that complimented his overall look.

For her part, McNelis was dressed in a brown sweater, black pants, and low-cut shirt. While Hunnam carried along their drinks, which included a cup of coffee, McNelis wore a large patterned purse over her shoulder and seemed at ease with her long-time boyfriend.

In addition to Hunnam and McNelis, Just Jared is reporting that the party was attended by a number of top Hollywood stars. Topping out the list of attendees included Tyra Banks, Amy Adams, Chase Crawford, Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Katharine McPhee, and Nicole Scherzinger.

Klein throws the holiday event every year, and treated guests with a variety of cocktails, including Freixenet, Ketel One, and Chloe Wine Collection. Guests were also given Coffee Bean for the road, which is what Hunnam was likely holding in the photographs.

The last time Charlie Hunnam and Morgana McNelis were spotted together in public was back in 2011, when the couple was photographed walking through a mall in Los Angeles. At the time, Hunnam sported his usual Sons of Anarchy look and wore a white shirt with jeans.

Meanwhile, although Hunnam rarely speaks about his relationship with McNelis, he did reveal in 2013 that he and McNelis had purchased a small ranch out in the countryside near Los Angeles.

“We’ve got 30 chickens and a couple of donkeys, a couple of ducks, and we’ve got a big, organic garden,” Hunnam shared.

At the same time, McNelis recently opened up about what is takes to maintain a healthy relationship during an interview with Taylor Magazine.

“I think the key to maintaining a good balance is creating a safe space within the relationship for both partners in which to grow and evolve,” she explained. “It’s very important to be present and participate in each other’s experiences so that falling in love doesn’t happen just once, it continues to happen over and over.”

According to Realty Today, Hunnam and McNelis have not always had a smooth sailing relationship. Apparently, there have been rumors that the couple was shaken following an incident with McNelis involving a mysterious drug deal.

However, the rumors about McNelis and her possible involvement in a drug deal have never officially been confirmed. Even still, it has been speculated that the ordeal has only made the relationship between the Crimson Peak star and McNelis all the more healthier.

Despite being together for eight years, Hunnam and McNelis have yet to make any plans to marry. Given the recent sighting, and the fact that the two still enjoy living together on their chicken farm, perhaps the couple will exchange vows at some point in the near future.

Hunnam has had a number of different girlfriends in the past, including Katharine Towne, whom he married in the ’90s, Sophie Dahl, Georgina Townsly, Rashida Jones, and Stella Parker.
