Below is the synopsis for The Magic Stocking.
At a craft sale during the holidays, a widow named Lindsey Monroe and her 11-year old daughter, Hannah, are shopping for some unique items for Hannah’s room. During this time, they find a beautiful but tattered Christmas stocking. They are told by one of the ladies at the craft sale that the stocking is very old but holds a lot of charm. Almost resembling an elf’s boot, the green stocking, which has red trim and a bell on the end, seems like the perfect choice to adorn their home for the holidays. Upon examining the stocking further, they notice some old trinkets inside, each one seeming to lead them on a new adventure. Soon, Hannah begins believing that the stocking is magical, though a skeptical Lindsey doesn’t believe it. Since the death of her husband, Lindsey is trying all she can to make this Christmas special for them. And with the help of this magical stocking and a handsome furniture delivery guy named Scott, Lindsey just might be able to find happiness again. Appealing to young and old, The Magic Stocking allows viewers to step inside the fairy tale, where dreams come true and faith and love are restored.
