Adriana Lima Addresses Justin Bieber Dating Rumors, Talks Gigi Hadid And Kendall Jenner
Adriana Lima is setting the record straight on those Justin Bieber dating rumors. The Victoria’s Secret Angel paid a visit to Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live talk show.
The gorgeous Brazilian model quashed the dating rumors on Thursday night. She said that she’s not interested in the Biebs. In fact, Lima likes her men a little taller.
It all started when Andy mentioned he saw a tabloid story about her hanging out with Justin Bieber. “I read somewhere that you and Justin Bieber hung out,” Andy asked. “Did you two ever date?”
Adriana Lima looked stunned when he asked that question. Lima laughed and said no repeatedly. Then she wanted to know where he read that tabloid rumor.
It appears that the rumor came from a May 2014 E! News report that claimed that the two had a hot hookup in the French Riviera after the 67th annual film festival just two weeks after she split with her ex Marko Jaric. The entertainment outlet claimed the rumor like it was true. An inside source told E! News about Lima and Bieber’s hot and steamy hookup. The source said that the two were “definite hardcore flirting and dancing between the two.”
But it was Us Weekly that first reported the rumors of the couple’s alleged affair, claiming an insider said, “Justin pursued her hard.” Then the source said that the two “were talking nonstop” and finally “went home together around 5 a.m.”
That same night, the “Sorry” singer took to his Instagram account to share a photo of himself with the 33-year-old model. Bieber captioned the photo, “I think she foreign, I think she foreign,” referencing the lyrics from his song “Confident.”
But back to that question. Fellow guest and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi joked about Adriana and Justin’s alleged romance, saying that Justin is too short for the runway model. “He would be right at [her] boobs. It would be perfect for him,” she added.
Adriana was clearly not impressed by the dating rumors that night. She slammed the rumors by saying that she loves taller men. “Anybody below 6-foot-7, you know how I call them? Friends,” she simply said.
She’s not the only Victoria’s Secret model who’s been linked to Justin Bieber. Fellow models Barbara Palvin and Miranda Kerr have also been linked to the Biebs. Palvin was spotted with the Canadian popstar after the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Week, and later again at the 2014 Cannes yacht party. But this beauty also denied the dating rumors.
Back in 2012, rumors swirled that Justin was also “very persistent” with Miranda Kerr after the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The pair got supposedly so close that it could be the reason why Orlando Bloom attempted to punch Justin on July 30, 2014, in Ibiza. Justin even taunted the rumors when he shared a bikini photo of the former Victoria’s Secret Model on his Instagram before deleting it.
Speaking of Victoria’s Secret models, Adriana Lima even revealed her thoughts on Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. She just shared the runway with the models at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, airing on Dec. 8 on CBS. Lima revealed to Andy Cohen that modeling is about more than good looks. But don’t get Lima wrong! She’s not dissing the girls at all. She’s saying that having a personality and social media presence is important these days.
“I think that in these days, the fashion industry has changed. Everything is not only just about beauty. In my opinion, those two girls are gorgeous. But you have to have character.
“You have to have something that shines and outstands from everybody else. I think they’re definitely different and charismatic and I think they’re going to be successful.”
