All of the injuries to main event level stars and time off for others, well, it’s taken a huge toll on the WWE main roster. The company has seen ratings fall and had to completely scrap all their tentative plans for WrestleMania 32 . That being said, they are beginning to take measures to get a full roster, fill TV time, and do whatever it takes to improve things. That means paying Brock Lesnar more money for more appearances and another Monday Night Raw .
According to Wrestling Inc. , Lesnar has now been added to yet another Monday Night Raw , and it’s a big one.
WWE.com now is advertising Brock Lesnar on their live events page for the Mar. 14 event in Pittsburgh, PA. That Raw is taking place from the CONSOL Energy Center and is less than three weeks from WrestleMania 32 .
Others being advertised for that show are John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens , and The New Day. As usual, all superstars are subject to change.
Most recently, Lesnar was added to a Monday Night Raw in January which is right before the Royal Rumble . That’s another hot topic right now as many are wondering if Lesnar is actually going to be involved with that pay-per-view or just appearing on WWE television prior to it.
Speaking of the Royal Rumble , many have been wondering just what Lesnar’s involvement will be at the pay-per-view that officially kicks off the “Road to WrestleMania .”
WrestleZone is reporting that fans should expect to see a lot more of Brock Lesnar in the coming weeks. He’s going to be showing up on WWE television a lot more and is indeed booked to appear or wrestle at the Royal Rumble in January.
He’s not listed as “appearing” at the event on WWE’s live events page, but he will be there and it’s going to start the build towards WrestleMania 32 . If all the plans for the biggest wrestling event of the year have truly been scrapped , then anything is possible.
Over the past couple of months, Lesnar has been linked to having his WrestleMania 23 match with John Cena, The Undertaker, Roman Reigns, or even “Stone Cold” Steve Austin . Jim Ross really thinks that the former UFC champion should take on a returning Batista .
Even though WWE is reportedly starting over, it’s still expected that Roman Reigns will go into WrestleMania 32 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Now, his opponent would be the winner of the rumble match, and that could be anyone.
If Brock Lesnar were to enter the rumble match, it would really make for one of the biggest storylines leading into the big event in early April.
Should Lesnar enter the rumble match, he could dominate and just eliminate superstar after superstar. When the final four comes, it could be made a little more interesting and difficult and still lead to him winning and getting the title shot against Reigns.
Talk about your rematches waiting and building over time. This would be the continuation or Part 2 of the main event they had at WrestleMania 31 . This time, there would be no “Money in the Bank” briefcase to be had as Sheamus has already used his and the next PPV isn’t until June.
Should someone be able to eliminate Lesnar from the rumble match, then there is your instant feud as he seeks revenge. It’s a win-win situation.
Brock Lesnar is going to be on your television a lot more often in WWE soon, and it’s all leading toward WrestleMania 32 . Still, the Royal Rumble and a lot of episodes of Monday Night Raw are before that, and the build-up will be exciting.
