WWE News: Spoiler-Free Previews For This Week’s ‘Thursday Night SmackDown’ & ‘NXT’
Once the live Monday Night RAW has gone off the air, there are still three more hours of pre-taped WWE television to watch throughout the week. On Wednesday nights, the WWE Network airs NXT, WWE’s weekly developmental program. On Thursday nights, they air SmackDown, a show meant to fill the gaps left over from WWE RAW.
Below, you will find spoiler-free previews for this week’s episodes of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown and WWE NXT.
Spoiler-free Preview: WWE NXT (December 2, 2015) — according to the NXT preview at Bleacher Report, the following matches are in store for tonight’s NXT:
- Emma vs. Liv Morgan — as Emma is in the middle of a program with Asuka and Liv Morgan is relatively unknown, the conclusion to this match seems obvious.
- Nia Jax vs. Blue Pants — Nia Jax is being built as the new, unstoppable force in the NXT Women’s division, and as most of the IWC knows, Leva Bates (aka “Blue Pants“) is no longer with NXT. This one should be a no-brainer as well.

- Jason Jordan & Chad Gable vs. The Vaudevillains — although this isn’t officially a No. 1 Contenders match, it seems likely that the winners will be one of the top choices to face Dash and Dawson for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
- James Storm vs. Adam Rose — while the future of James Storm in WWE/NXT is still unclear, it seems unlikely that they’d bring him in just to put over one of the lowest-rung talents from WWE’s main roster.
- Samoa Joe vs. Tommaso Ciampa — as the only match officially promoted on WWE.com’s NXT preview page, one has to assume that NXT Champion Finn Balor will have a presence during this match to hype the upcoming title match between Balor and Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver: London.

Spoiler-free Preview: WWE Thursday Night SmackDown (December 3, 2015) — according to this SmackDown preview (warning: this link contains spoilers!), the matches set for this week’s SmackDown include the following.
- Tyler Breeze vs. Neville — Dolph Ziggler will be on commentary for this match, so we can expect their feud to continue through the TLC pay-per-view.

- The New Day vs. The Usos and Dean Ambrose — if The New Day wins, Roman Reigns must face all four members of the League of Nations by himself in the main event; if The Usos and Dean Ambrose win, they are included in the main event to make it an eight-man tag team match.
- Becky Lynch vs. Brie Bella — Becky and Charlotte left things awkwardly after their match on WWE RAW. With both Charlotte and Alicia Fox at ringside for this match, what direction will the WWE Divas Championship drama take on Thursday night?

- Devon Dudley vs. Bray Wyatt — although the advertisements show Bubba Ray Dudley in this match, Devon is the Superstar who actually wrestles.
- League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett and Alberto Del Rio) face either Roman Reigns alone or Roman Reigns, The Usos and Dean Ambrose.
WWE NXT can be streamed live and/or on-demand tonight on the WWE Network at 8/7c. NXT can also be streamed on-demand Thursday with a Hulu Plus subscription. WWE Thursday Night SmackDown airs on SyFy at 8/7c. SmackDown can also be streamed the next day on Hulu Plus.
