Bill Clinton ‘Tried To Seduce’ Jackie Kennedy With Wrestling Match, She Thought He Was Just Like JFK [Report]
A new book has alleged that Bill Clinton tried to seduce and bed Jackie Kennedy in her New York apartment, even resorting to a wrestling match in his attempts.
Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince have made these allegations in their book, In Bill and Hillary: So This Is That Thing Called Love, via the Daily Mail, recalling how Bill Clinton reportedly made these advances when he visited Jackie Kennedy Onassis in her apartment on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
In fact, the book reports that the President “almost forcibly” attempted to have sex with Jackie Kennedy Onassis, who at the time was in her 60s, even though she protested. This then resulted in the pair practically having a “wrestling match.”
These allegations and anecdotes were reportedly collected by Katharine Graham, a former Washington Post publisher, who died in 2001, and she is believed to have told these stories to a number of people, including author Truman Capote.
Despite the 17-year age gap between Jacqueline Kennedy, who was born on July 28, 1929, and Bill Clinton, who was born on August 19, 1946, Clinton allegedly couldn’t help but make a move on the former First Lady.
The book insists that Kennedy retold the story to one of her friends. “We almost indulged in a wrestling match,” Jackie Kennedy Onassis explained. “It was most embarrassing.”Jackie Kennedy insisted that she was flattered by Bill Clinton’s advances, while she also compared the 42nd President of the United States to her husband, John F. Kennedy, who himself was the 35th President of the United States until he was assassinated on November 22, 1963.
“I mean, I was flattered that I turned him on so much at my age, but Bill was just like Jack in the sense that neither of them wanted to take ‘no’ for an answer,” Jackie Kennedy added.
However, it clearly had a detrimental effect on their relationship, because she also confided to her friend that because of his actions she felt uncomfortable spending time alone with Bill. “Ever since that day I prefer not to be alone in the same room with Bill,” she continued. “I fear he’s a man who never gives up.”
Up until this attempt at seduction by Bill Clinton, a date for which wasn’t provided, the Clintons and Kennedys had been very good friends. When Bill Clinton was originally running for President in 1992, he was given the blessing of Kennedy, who made several generous donations to his campaign.
Jackie Kennedy also invited Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, to her vacation home at Martha’s Vineyard in August, 1993, and is believed to have told close confidants that she had much common ground with the Clintons. Especially Hillary.
Writing of the similarities between Bill Clinton and John Kennedy, biographer Sarah Bradford recalled that Kennedy once said that Bill reminded her of her husband because of his “famous charm and intellectual curiosity as well, no doubt, the rumors of his sexual peccadilloes.”A spokesman for Hillary and Bill Clinton responded to the publication of this story on Sunday with instant derision, insisting that it is completely false. The representative declared, “[Is it] possible to quote me laughing at the sheer absurdity of this story?”
Despite the fact that Jackie Kennedy’s husband JFK was assassinated in 1963, almost thirty years before Bill Clinton took office, JFK and Bill Clinton met in the White House’s Rose Garden in 1963, when Bill was just 17-years-old.
