Tim Tebow News: QB Reportedly Dumped Due To Lack of Sex

Some interesting Tim Tebow news, as the former NFL quarterback has been dumped by girlfriend Olivia Culpo reportedly due to the lack of sex in their relationship, according to the New York Daily News.

Those that followed Tebow over the past several years know about his dedication to religion. Not only is it a big part of his touchdown celebrations in football, but he also makes it a huge part of every other aspects of his life. Tebow is very religious when it comes to relationships. He has that old school mentality where you do not have sex with a woman until the two of you are married. The 28-year-old Florida native is not shy about making that fact known to others.

Apparently, Olivia Culpo did not get the memo. Approximately two months ago, news surfaced that Tebow and the former Miss USA had started dating. According to their friends, things were going pretty well between the two at the start. Tebow was supposedly in love with Culpo, sending her gifts and love letters. However, when it came down to sex, the former University of Florida star stayed true to his words. Culpo was reportedly unable to deal with that and broke it off.

While society has come a long way, certain topics such as sex are still taboo for many. This bit of news regarding Tebow is going to hurt Culpo more than anyone else. Olivia is going to take a hit when it comes to reputation as some people now view her as an oversexed vixen who does not believe in the old ways of doing things. In reality, though, sex in a relationship is viewed as acceptable to the majority of the world now. As a celebrity, though, she will be under the spotlight.

Another thing that will cause Olivia and her reputation to take a hit is that this is not the first time that she has been involved in a relationship with someone who swore off sex before marriage. Prior to dating Tebow, Olivia was famously involved in a relationship with Nick Jonas, who wore a promise ring to let the world know that he was abstaining from sex before being married. That vow of abstinence did not last long, as Jonas was spotted without the ring shortly thereafter.

While some may make jokes towards Tebow, his reputation on relationships will not be taking a hit. Some will view him as a white knight still. The only thing that will take a hit is that Tebow is oftentimes considered too stubborn when it comes to his beliefs. Though universally viewed as a good guy, many feel that the 28-year-old is holding himself back in life because once he is married to an opinion, it is really hard for him to see things in ways that he is not accustomed to.

A prime example of that is the fact that Tebow is not in the NFL this season. The 6’3? 245-pound star refuses to see himself as anything but a quarterback, even though there are plenty of coaches that would love to give him a try at another position. Tebow refuses to do that, unlike Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots. He was a quarterback at Kent State University but opted to move to the wide receiver position so that can he continue to play professional football.
