Taylor Swift On Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Reunion: ‘A Learning Experience’

Taylor Swift hopes that friend Selena Gomez learns her lesson after reuniting with Justin Bieber, a recent Hollywood Life report detailed.

A source close to Swift told the publication that Taylor – who is currently on tour in Australia – wants the rekindled relationship to be over quickly between Bieber and Gomez, the article reported.

“Taylor doesn’t like Justin. That is not a newsflash at all, but she knows that she can’t mother Selena forever. Taylor learned about relationships the hard way: by going through bad ones, and now she is happy with Calvin.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber sparked rumors after a fan captured video of the two inside the Montage Hotel bar last weekend. Justin Bieber serenaded the “Same Old Love” singer with “My Girl” before the artists took to the dance floor to share a slow dance. The video shows Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber cuddled close together during the song, sharing an intimate moment that has Taylor Swift concerned.

“Taylor is hoping that Selena’s reconciliation with Justin is brief and a learning experience because Taylor knows she can’t do anything about it and talk her out of it. Taylor can only look from afar and hope Selena opens her eyes and realizes she is way better without him than with him.”

While it may fall on deaf ears, Swift is a go-to source for Selena Gomez when the “Good For You” singer seeks advice. An article in the U.K. magazine InStyle reported that Gomez relies on Swift for counseling. “I’ll be like, ‘I think I totally screwed up,'” Selena said in the article. “But Taylor says, ‘Actually, you didn’t’ and shows me how to make my mistakes into something great.”

Justin Bieber is reportedly hoping to rekindle the romantic flame the music artists shared in their previous relationship. To that end, Bieber and his famous ex-girlfriend spent most of the night together at the American Music Awards. In addition, a Hollywood Life report surfaced that Bieber is looking to rent the Staples Center next month for a private screening of the new Star Wars film. Justin has done it before, renting the arena during their previous relationship in 2011.

Money certainly isn’t an issue for Justin Bieber. The superstar artist has smashed several records with his latest album Purpose, according to Fortune. His most recent accomplishment was to have the most songs in the Billboard Hot 100 at the same as Justin Bieber recorded 17 titles among the countdown this week, besting a 51-year-old record.

Like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez also recently released an album. Called Revival, the album cover made headlines with Selena Gomez posing nude to combat fat-shaming. Her current single “Me & The Rhythm” debuted slightly before Gomez released the album, the Inquisitr reported.

Taylor Swift was recently seen vacationing together with Calvin Harris in New Zealand, according to a report in the New Zealand Herald. The two artists have been romantically linked for several months, prompting fans to celebrate the relationship between Swift and Harris on Twitter recently.

Selena Gomez was a part of another recent Taylor Swift celebration. The “Bad Blood” singer – who won Best Video at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards – honored members of her all-girl Swift Squad with replica Moonman awards at a recent Swift get-together. Gomez was on hand to accept the award as well as join Taylor Swift in a duet, singing “Happy Birthday” to friend Lily Aldridge.
