‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Says All Of The ‘Real Housewives’ Are ‘Replaceable’
It is no secret that Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is not afraid to say whatever is on her mind. In fact, her ability to stir up drama is what makes her a great addition to the hit reality series. With that in mind, Frankel was recently a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she made some shocking statements about some of her co-stars.
According to Movie News Guide, Frankel was very candid when asked about her fellow co-stars and explained how they all could be replaced with just about anyone.
“Go to any mall in America. You can find some crazy b***hes!” Frankel told Meyers.
Frankel’s comments follow a fair share of controversy involving the other cast members of the reality show, who apparently held out on signing on for the new season in order to receive higher salaries. This is ultimately what led to Frankel’s comments, and it would seem as though Frankel believes she could find random women in a mall that would be better candidates for the show.
At the same time, Frankel isn’t without a good bit of controversy on her own, including being embroiled in a heated custody suit with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. In fact, according to Business Insider, the reality star is trying her best to refine her image as a good mother, which has been under a good deal of attack lately.
With that in mind, Frankel explained how she still manages to create a balance between work and personal life. This includes finding time to spend with her daughter, Bryn, who is currently 5-years-old.
“As far as professional and motherhood, when I’m working, I’m completely working and I’m focused,” Frankel stated. “When I’m with my daughter, I’m completely focused on that and I’m not working.”
What’s her secret to being a good mother? According to Bethenny Frankel, her ability to prioritize her time and concentrate on the moment is what makes her an ideal mother. Not only is this something that she views as beneficial to her daughter, but it also offers an opportunity for Frankel to leave a legacy behind that her daughter can enjoy as she grows older.
“I create my entire schedule and life so it’s separated,” she told the outlet. “And it works really well because I am as much a mom as I am a businesswoman. And vice versa. I love having this legacy to leave for her, and I love that she’ll see that I work, but I don’t miss her drop-offs and pick-ups, and I don’t do work instead of being with her, ever.”
Meanwhile, Frankel also had some advice for other single mothers who are forced to work long hours to support their family. Along with letting kids enjoy their own personal time, Frankel advised mothers to let them know just how much they care for them.
“You have to just know that you’re a good person, your child — when they’re at school — is where they’re supposed to be; when they’re playing with their friends, it’s what they’re supposed to be doing,” Frankel said in the interview. “And it’s quality time when you’re with them. Be present and focused and let them know how much you love them.”
While Frankel’s comments seem to indicate that she has a good grasp on what it takes to be a good mother, her court case with Hoppy has yet to be settled. Whatever ends up happening between the two, all will likely be revealed in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City, which is currently in production.
