‘Pretty Little Liars’ EP Has ‘Really Big Ideas For A Great PLL Movie’
Pretty Little Liars show runner I. Marlene King hinted that the little liars may be heading to the big screen in the not-so-distant future, Hollywood Life reported.
Talking on Good Morning America last week, King said that the cast could continue after the series ended with a movie. Already, King said plans are being formed about the potential Pretty Little Liars movie.
“We’ve got some really big ideas for a great PLL movie, but that won’t happen right after the series ends. I think we’ll take a little break and let everybody go off and do a few things and hopefully we’ll come back together again and do something really special.”
With reports suggesting that next season will be the last, the movie could come sooner than some fans would like. King’s comments shortly after the mid-season finale aired this summer have viewers prepared for an end to Pretty Little Liars in 2017.
“There’s a new mystery and a new story that starts up when we come back in the next episode, and that story will most likely end at the end of season seven. So it’s a great final, gigantic mystery twist — I think it’s the biggest we’ve ever had. And that feels like season seven is probably a good time to end that story. But we’ll see — we have a little time to play with it. But we’re definitely moving in that direction.”

While episodes do not return until January 2016, fans of Pretty Little Liars do not have to wait until then to catch a glimpse of the show’s actresses. Design & Trend noted the show will air a special show on November 24, 2015 called Pretty Little Liars: 5 Years Forward.
Fans can expect the special episode to be filled with interviews from the show’s cast and production crew. Viewers will also find out the origin of the show’s theme song while Marlene King serves as the moderator.
Fans of the series can reasonably expect to hear the cast discuss their views on the reveal of “A” as CeCe Drake (Vanessa Ray). The unveiling of the villain was pretty upsetting to some Pretty Little Liars fans.

Will the interviews offer any hints for the upcoming seasons? Viewers already have some of those with the latest trailer from the show. In addition, the Pretty Little Liars cast revealed four minutes of the upcoming episode, which shows glimpses of girls from Rosewood after the five-year time jump.
More hints about the next villain to haunt the ladies would be ideal. Currently, fans only know the “Big Bad” character is male, but as CeCe’s reveal proved, assumptions can be proven false on Pretty Little Liars.

Other spoilers are already floating about the upcoming second-half of the season. Potential Pretty Little Liars story lines will focus on who is getting married, someone’s return to Rosewood, and who is Ali’s husband.
During the hiatus, the actresses have kept themselves busy despite not filming the series. Ashley Benson has been rumored to be occupied with a possible relationship with Taylor Lautner, and Shay Mitchell has published a book while filming for two upcoming movies.
And while it didn’t occupy her entire time away from filming Pretty Little Liars, Troian Bellisario had her own mystery to solve. This one, however, centered on how a single fan named Tod planned to use all of the autographed photos she had sent to him, according to a recent report by MTV News.
