Katy Perry Trolls LSU Tigers At Ole Miss Game
It is no secret that the pop star Katy Perry is a big College Football fan. Over a year ago, Katy Perry had a guest appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay where she was happy to make fun of the LSU Tigers and their fans. Over a year later, Perry is back with the trolling.
It has been said that the fans of the LSU Tigers smell like corn dogs and Katy Perry is happy to troll them about it. According to The Washington Post, during Katy’s segment on College GameDay, she started to refer to the LSU team as LS-Pew and threw a corn dog at the camera. This came up when she gave her prediction that LSU would be losing to Auburn at Oxford.
After Katy Perry got the rumors stirring regarding the Tigers, Les Miles, LSU’s head coach, tried to have the rumors shut down. It, however, did not prove to be very successful.
“I’d have to say that people who make observations about how other people smell based on the fact that their nose doesn’t work well. I guess if that’s the issue — I want you to know one thing and I’ll say it very honestly. I have gone to Tiger Stadium and never smelled corn dogs.”
In 2014, Katy Perry was at Oxford to support the Ole Miss team as they went to face Alabama. So it comes as no surprise that she showed her support this year when Ole Miss is facing LSU at Oxford. Perry went all out this year, creating a cheer that was broadcast before the big game. In classic Katy Perry style, a corn dog was thrown into the mix.

Katy cheer seems to be exactly what Ole Miss need to pull off the 38-17 win over LSU. It is also possible that she got inside the heads of all the LSU players with her troll video. The fans of Ole Miss were pleased with the support that Katy Perry offered.

This lost has been a big one for LSU, according to NOLA Les Miles’ tenure at LSU may be coming, rumors were circulating before the big loss and they have only strengthen in the LSU loss. This loss has made a three-game losing streak for the LSU team. All supporters that have been backing Miles have since been waiting to have the ties cut and have a new head coach hired.
The “I Kissed A Girl” singer has always been making waves on social media and this stun proves to be no different. Katy Perry has also been in the news lately regarding the close friendship that has formed with Kris Jenner. The duo has an image on Instagram showing Katy giving Kris a kiss on her cheek.
After the stars met at the Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel dinner in March, rumors started regarding their friendship. Jenner confirmed her friendship with Perry through Instagram earlier this year. Katy Perry has expressed just how important Kris is to her. The age difference does not seem to affect the duo’s friendship. Jenner’s birthday video included guest appearances from Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and none other than Katy Perry. Katy was happy to tell Jenner that regardless of her age, she would be forever young to her.
It’s classic Katy Perry style, and she will continue to make waves on and around social media with similar stunts as she did with LSU Tigers. It will be interesting to see what kind of corn dog stunt Katy Perry will be pulling next year.
