New ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer Hits The Web [Video]

Batman fans weren’t expecting to see any new footage from The Dark Knight Rises until the film was released on July 20th. But today, Christopher Nolan sent out a new trailer for his third Batman movie.

The new trailer features plenty of footage from the previous three trailers, but it also gives a few seconds of fresh film. The new Dark Knight Rises trailer features a good dose of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will clearly play a large role in the new movie, as well as some fresh looks at Batman’s battle against Bane.

The new trailer also features a few comedic moments, like when Catwoman “borrows” Batman’s car or when Alfred jokes about where Bruce Wayne parked the batwing.

Anticipation for The Dark Knight Rises is already at an all-time high. Tickets for the midnight screenings have already sold out and eBay sellers are hoping to cash in on the comic book frenzy. Several sellers have tickets up on the auction site for $150 or more.
