Katy Perry Kisses Kris Jenner, Parties With Gwen Stefani

Katy Perry kissed Kris Jenner, and she liked it. In a strange turn of events, the pop star and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star were seen hanging out together.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift may not have anything in common these days. But it looks these pop stars are creating their own squad goals. Katy Perry confirmed her BFF status with the reality star. Jenner, 60, shared a photo of herself with Perry, 31, along with the caption: “It’s us again!!!! Love you @katyperry fun night #BFF’s #shinanigans” The photo shows Perry smooching Jenner’s cheek, as the matriarch smiles for the camera.

This friendship shouldn’t come as a surprise to Katy Perry’s fans. The “This Is How We Do” singer shared a photo of herself on Instagram with her new pixie haircut, along with the caption: “asked for the Kris Jenner.” When Katy unveiled her new look at the 2015 Met Gala in May, she told the reporters from Entertainment Tonight that “Kris Jenner is very important to me” and the Kardashian family are “completely valid.” And clearly, she was not joking.

“That is not sarcastic at all. She has a great sense of humor and she’s kind of like the mother of everyone.”

The reality star first confirmed her friendship with Perry earlier this year. Jenner took to Instagram to share a photo with Perry in front of the Statute of Liberty. She then included the caption: “Yep @katyperry…Lady Liberty is 100% photo bombing us!!!!!! Best night in NYC!!!!!! Thanks for an amazing night and dinner @karllagerfeld #bestnightever #Chanel #family”

The two stars met at the Karl Lagerfeld dinner for Chanel back in March, sparking the rumors that they became besties. There’s also the star-studded video that Jenner’s daughters made for her 60th birthday party from earlier this month, which include guest appearances from Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Perry herself.

“Who gives a f**k how old you are?” Perry said in the video, “Because you’ll be forever young to me.”

Not only has Katy Perry been smooching Kris Jenner, she’s also been seen partying with Gwen Stefani. It happened at a dinner that Jennifer Aniston and Tobey Maguire hosted for jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, according to the NY Mag‘s The Cut. Katy and Gwen attended the private dinner at Jennifer’s home in Los Angeles last Wednesday, November 18. The two singers were joined by Nicole Richie and January Jones, who wore a leopard onesie. It’s any wonder if the onesie came from Perry’s new holiday-themed onesie collection. Gwen and Katy even posed together at the event.

Both singers are not strangers to singing about their public breakups. Stefani, 46, just released the raw video for her new song “Used to Love You” after her divorce from Gavin Rossdale in August. Perry did the same when she released her video for “Part Of Me” after her divorce from Russell Brand back in 2012. It looks like this could be the start of a perfect friendship.

The “Dark Horse” singer was then spotted with good friends Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel on Thursday night. The threesome previously hung out at Coachella earlier that year. There was another dinner in Los Angeles, but this time it was for the 8th Annual GO Campaign Gala. The adoring couple took a photo with the singer.

All three stars were dressed up at the event. Perry opted for an all-black look, complete with dark lipstick and her signature jet black hair. Pattinson wore a black dinner coat and white button down shirt with a black tie, while FKA Twigs wore an all-white ensemble complete with subtle makeup and jewelry. Perry was then seen getting friendly with actress Kate Hudson later that night, who looked super casual in her knit sweater and ripped jeans.

There’s one person that Katy Perry hasn’t been seen with these days, and that’s John Mayer. The entertainer just wrapped up her Prismatic World Tour last month, but she hasn’t been spotted with the musician on her off time, causing the split rumors to swirl yet again. Many people thought that Katy and John were dating after they were seen attending a friend’s wedding and holding hands over the summer.

According to reports, Mayer has been romantically linked to TV chef Giada De Laurentiis, who’s now dating businessman Shane Farley. Perry reportedly got friendly with RAF Commander Mike Woods at the Airshow Gala Dinner at the Dubai Airport, where she lit up the stage in a starry bodysuit.
