Sharon Osbourne In Tears Over Jack’s MS Diagnosis
The news of Jack Osbourne’s diagnosis with multiple sclerosis (MS for short) had his mother, Sharon Osbourne, in tears on a segment of The Talk Monday.
Sharon struggled to find words with regard to her feelings about son Jack’s diagnosis with MS. After taking several moment to compose herself, Sharon said, “He’s great – he’s doing really, really good and I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us.”
Co-host Julie Chen reaffirmed to Sharon that Jack is “an amazing guy, he’s very courageous” and asked, “What else do you want say Mrs. O?” Sharon, who has battled cancer herself said, “Just thank you to everyone for all their good wishes,” continuing, “It’s been amazing … for Jack ’cause I really believe that vibes of prayer help.”
Sharon concluded, “I’m just feeling sorry for myself and that is no good, so we have to think positively.”
Jack was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few weeks ago after losing most of the sight in his right eye. He spent a few days upset, depressed, and angry, but eventually adopted a positive motto, “adapt and overcome”. His shocking diagnosis came just weeks after he and fiancée Lisa Stelly welcomed their daughter, Pearl, into the world.
Jack Osbourne will be on The Talk this coming Wednesday to talk about his diagnosis. You can check out the tear-jerking video of Sharon Osbourne’s reaction to her son’s diagnosis here.
