Charlie Sheen ‘Today’ Video: Watch 3 ‘Today’ Videos Of Sheen Talking HIV — $3 Million Payments, Charlie’s Unprotected Sex With 2 [Videos]
The following video of Charlie Sheen on the Today show is so popular that it has landed at the top spot of the most popular URLs, according to Alexa.com, an Amazon firm.
In the exclusive Today video, Charlie Sheen reveals he’s HIV positive, and the video is more than eight minutes long. Sheen turned to Today to reveal his HIV status, with Charlie saying he turned to morning show to tell the truth. In the Today video, Matt Lauer first asked Charlie how many people he’d told about his HIV status, and Sheen said that he didn’t tell that many. Charlie said he told people in his inner circle, and eventually some of those people betrayed him. One such woman was an escort that Sheen brought home, a person he claims went into his bathroom and took a photo of his HIV meds and then threatened to sell it to the media.
Charlie’s HIV Today video revelation is listed as an “Editor’s Pick” on the Today video page. Another video from Today with Sheen shows him sitting with his doctor, who warns that while Charlie has an undetectable level of HIV in his blood, Charlie does not have AIDS. The physician called Charlie healthy but admitted he was more worried about Sheen’s possible drug use.
Sheen’s truths became his treason, as read from a passage in the Today video. Charlie kept bringing these people to his home, he told Today, because Sheen was making bad decisions and was depressed. Sheen says it was impossible for him to pass on the HIV virus to others because he claimed to always use condoms. The only time he had unprotected sex was with two people who were warned about Sheen’s HIV beforehand and were under the care of Sheen’s doctors.
“Roid rage” is how Charlie described his “tiger blood” and “winning” phase.
Sheen was diagnosed with HIV roughly four years ago, with Charlie saying he began sweating his bed so much so that his sheets were completely drenched. Sheen thought he had a brain tumor at first and called the HIV diagnosis a hard secret to absorb. Charlie told Today that he has paid a few people around $3 million to keep his HIV secret.
Sheen’s Today revelation via the viral video is being called a bombshell by the Daily Mail.
Charlie takes four pills per day, with the HIV-positive Sheen admitting that he doesn’t do drugs. However, Sheen told Today that he does still drink on occasion. Charlie hasn’t missed taking his important “cocktail” of meds that are helping to save his life. Sheen’s HIV positive diagnosis found the 50-year-old actor speaking out so that no one would extort him again.
A third video below shows Sheen talking to Today about potential lawsuits, criminal charges, and more HIV-related allegations that argue the actor might have had sex without divulging his HIV status.
Today described their popular video, titled “Charlie Sheen: ‘I’m HIV positive,’ paid many who threatened to expose me,” as follows.
“In an exclusive interview with TODAY’s Matt Lauer, actor Charlie Sheen says, ‘I’m here to admit that I am in fact HIV positive.’ He says that reports that he has threatened the health of others ‘couldn’t be farther than the truth.’ He says he first found out about his status ‘about four years ago’ and initially thought he had a brain tumor. He says that he has paid people who threatened to reveal his HIV status, ‘They were deep in my inner circle,’ he says, and adds, ‘we’re talking about shakedowns.’ In terms of paying people now, he says, ‘I think I release myself from this prison today.’ He admits that he has had unprotected sex since his diagnosis, but that the two people involved were forewarned, and that he has told all his sexual partners about his status.”
