Lady Gaga Disses Ronda Rousey: Singer Says The Fighter Deserved To Lose
Lady Gaga has once again caused a major internet uproar when she unabashedly dissed MMA fighter Ronda Rousey after she lost to Holly Holm in their UFC 193 fight Saturday night, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The singer/actress posted a picture of Rousey getting hit in the face by Holm to Instagram with the caption “THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT TOUCHING GLOVES,” written in all caps.
Of course Gaga wasn’t the only celebrity to weigh in on Rousey’s behavior. Many of the fighter’s fans did not approve.
Seeing Ronda Rousey in the build up screaming in Holm's face, then refusing to touch gloves, it's so satisfying to see her get KO'd

And Gaga certainly wasn’t the only one happy about Rhonda Rousey’s misfortune in the ring. Rousey’s longtime rival, Meisha Tate, only needed to post two laughing emojis to get her point across.

Bethe Correia, the Brazilian fighter who quite embarrassingly lost to Rousey in the first 34 seconds during their August match, put up several Instagram posts making fun of Rousey.
Other celebrities, however seemed to either support Rousey or congratulate Holm on her win without the dis.
Congrats to @GregJacksonMMA and the new champion @_HOLLYHOLM blown away by this fight.

It’s hard to really blame Lady Gaga for the post after seeing what Ronda posted before the fight. Rousey, who is the now-former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s champion in bantamweight, posted a video Saturday with a message to her opponent.
“Fake a– cheap shotting fake respect fake humility b–ch – ‘preacher’s daughter’ my ass – I see through your fake sweet act now,” Rousey captioned the video. “You’re getting your a– kicked tomorrow, and I’m really going to enjoy the beating I give you #andSTILL.”
Rousey also had quite the ego when she told Jimmy Fallon during an interview exactly how she thought the fight would go down, and she was surprisingly right, sort of.
“I feel like she’s going to try to like keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated to the point I’ll make a mistake and she can try to kick me in the head. But it’s not going to go like that. Not the way she wants.”
Well it did go the way Holm wanted and Rousey did not deliver on that beating, instead losing to Holly Holm and ending her 12-fight winning streak at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
Holm told news.com.au that Rousey not touching gloves with her didn’t bother her — much.
“It did get me a little fired up,” she later admitted. And she was fired up enough to knock Rousey out during the first minute of the second round.
Following the fight, Rousey, who was briefly unconscious after Holm kicked her in the head, was transported to a hospital. UFC president Dana White says Rousey’s lip was split in half and it needed to be sewn back together. Rousey assured her fans that she was fine, however, with an Instagram post Sunday evening.
“I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I’m fine. As I had mentioned before, I’m going to take a little bit of time, but I’ll be back.”
