The Walking Dead could soon make fans very happy, with spoilers indicating that Glenn will be back from the dead very soon.
Fans watched three weeks ago as Glenn was seemingly killed, torn apart by a horde of walkers, but there have been hints that he could eventually return.
Celeb Dirty Laundry shared some spoilers from Sunday’s episode, which will foreshadow the debut of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). This week’s episode will feature his followers, the Saviors.
As the report noted, this could lead to a confrontation with Daryl Dixon as well as the death of another major character.
“The pivotal character had half of his face burned off by Negan and surfaces in the graphic novels in a scene that leads to the death of fan-favorite character, Abraham. Does the arrival of Dwight mean Abraham is doomed? It’s possible!
“The sixth episode of TWD won’t reveal the fate of Glenn, but it will make a great bridge to future episodes. Now that we know Negan will arrive, the encounter Daryl has with Dwight in the woods will come full circle. There will be no major character death’s in Sunday’s episode, but still packed with action and follow the typical TWD formula. Daryl will be on his own, while Sasha and Abraham bond and work through their issues.”
While fans will have to wait at least one more week to learn the fate of Glenn, other spoilers for The Walking Dead have already indicated that he might not be dead.
Showrunner Scott M. Gimple already explained on the Talking Dead podcast that Glenn will be back in one way or another. He said the following (via Variety ).
“And knowing you’d all be talking and feeling and commiserating, I knew we should say something about it, lest our silence say something we didn’t mean to say or not say. So I’ll say this: In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn, or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story, to help complete the story.”
Fans noted that Steven Yeun’s name was already removed from the show’s opening credits, which would seem to suggest that Glenn isn’t coming back. But Celeb Dirty Laundry speculated that this could be a bit of gamesmanship on the part of producers, who don’t want to tip their hand that Glenn is returning.

There could certainly be plenty of precedent for Glenn Rhee to return. E! News pointed out that many other shows have appeared to kill off major characters only to reveal that they actually survived.
While no one outside the show seems to know for sure — and The Walking Dead isn’t completely following the graphic novel that has revealed past spoilers — there seems to be ample evidence toward Glenn coming back.
If Glenn Rhee does live, The Walking Dead could still have an even bigger twist coming. There is growing speculation that Daryl Dixon could be killed off, as actor Norman Reedus has just signed on for a motorcycle-centered reality show on AMC. Cinema Blend writer Conner Schwerdtfeger speculated that AMC could be preparing fans for his departure from the show by giving Reedus a presence elsewhere.

Fans of The Walking Dead have a bit longer to wait to find out if the spoilers are true. It’s been reported that the show will not address Glenn’s death until the seventh episode, which airs on November 22.
