Giada De Laurentiis’ New Boyfriend Is Reportedly Still Married

Giada De Laurentiis let it slip last week that she’s happy and in love on The Wendy Williams talk show. Ever since then, fans have been buzzing about Giada’s new boyfriend, TV producer Shane Farley. In fact, they wanted to know more about him, and got more than they bargained for.

Giada De Laurentiis hinted about the new love in her life on The Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday, November 4. The TV chef was asked if she has moved on since finalizing her divorce from Todd Thompson two months ago. “I’m gonna say kind of … And I will tell you, this is the first time I’ve actually said that,” Laurentiis said with a smile.

Wendy Williams said, “I could just read Page Six and find everything out, or you could just come clean now!” The crowd roared as they waited to hear more about Giada’s new man.

When the daytime TV show host asked Laurentiis if she’s in love, she couldn’t hide the happiness that spread across her face. “God!” she yelled, before diving back into her cooking segment. Laurentiis didn’t give any more details about her new man, but she did quash some rumors while she was there. She denied that she had an affair with fellow TV chef Bobby Flay, although the two were spotted having dinner together in New York City after she announced her divorce. Laurentiis also denied that she had any romantic involvement with Today show host Matt Lauer. She slammed the media for judging her because of her sexy looks and her killer curves.

Now back to Giada’s new man. E! News dished about the lucky man in their article “5 Things to Know About Giada De Laurentiis’ Boyfriend Shane Farley.” The celebrity gossip site found little to say about the man, but quipped that “he’s a charmer” and “he’s genuine.” An inside source then let it slip that the businessman is in the process of ending his own divorce.

“They just left off he’s technically still married. When he first met Giada, he was still very much married.”

So he may be genuine, even if he’s in the process of divorce. The source added that Shane is “very charming, but not in a questionable way. He’s sincere.” Hmm!

E! News went on to claim that Giada De Laurentiis and Shane Farley first met in 2013 when he was planning to produce a show for her and Bobby Flay. To avoid spreading rumors, De Laurentiis’ rep told Page Six that the couple started dating back in August of this year.

“Giada and Shane are indeed dating but did not start dating until this past August.”

Rumors and suggestions that indicate Giada and Shane have been romantically involved before then are “outright false.”

Shane Farley may have not been upfront and honest to his own wife though. Court documents courtesy of the New York Supreme Court reveal that Farley filed for divorce on March 30, 2015, from personal trainer Jennifer Giamo. Her lawyer, Barry S. Guaglardi, spoke to Fox News on Wednesday, November 11, after E! News’ report quickly went viral. He says that she’s in shock over the recent tabloid reports.

“My client is devastated by what she has learned through the tabloids … ‘Hurtful’ would be a mild characterization.”

Another source said that the divorce proceedings are in process, which explains why he’s still married. “They’re just in the middle of it.”

Another interesting tidbit found is that Farley relocated to Los Angeles shortly after his divorce. He moved to an area where De Laurentiis is reportedly buying her new $6 million Pacific Palisades mansion, which previously belonged to Benny Goodman.

Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson were married for 11 years until they announced their divorce in December of 2014. Since then, she’s been linked to Matt Lauer and Bobby Flay, when the chef announced that he and his wife, actress Stephanie March, were ending their marriage five months ago. Some assumed that it was De Laurentiis who split the couple up.
