In the face of all the speculation regarding her ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers , Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is apparently already moving on to another man. According to ET Online , the reality star was spotted on a date over the weekend with Smith Walker at a dance club in Anaheim, California.
Although she only recently ended things with Ayers, who has been embroiled in controversy throughout this past season of RHOC , Gunvalson had a great time with Walker, who hails from Texas.
“She’s moving on and incredibly happy,” an inside source told ET concerning Gunvalson’s dating life.
That being said, the source also confirmed that Walker and Gunvalson have been friends for quite some time now, and that their relationship is “nothing serious.”
Even still, several eyewitnesses have come forward to reveal the two seemed very happy and comfortable with each other during their date. In fact, the two looked to be more than just friends during their public outing. Does this mean they are ready to take their relationship to a new level?
“She looked really happy with this guy!… He was by her side the whole time they were there.”
While it is still to be seen what becomes of Gunvalson’s latest relationship, the reality star has a long and tumultuous history with Ayers. In fact, the two have dated here and there since back in 2011, and only recently decided to call it quits after being together since 2014.
Ironically, part of the reason why the two decided to give it another go in 2014 was because Ayers told her that he had been diagnosed with cancer. However, as unfolded in the past season of the show, Ayers’ claims of cancer were met with opposition by a number of the women on the show, who alleged that Ayers was lying about ever having been diagnosed with cancer.
Eventually, the allegations surrounding Ayers proved to be too much for Gunvalson. Although Gunvalson continued to back Ayers throughout the majority of the season, she finally switched sides during the third part of the reunion special. According to Us Magazine , Gunvalson followed her instincts after Ayers failed to offer her any evidence that he has cancer.
“My gut says he doesn’t have it,” she stated during the special. “I don’t have any proof that he doesn’t, and he won’t give me enough proof that he does.”
Despite these comments by Gunvalson, Ayers is convinced that Gunvalson is still on his side and continues to claim that he has cancer. “She said no, she didn’t feel like she’s been duped and secondly, she now believe that I have cancer,” Ayers explained.
Whatever the truth of the matter concerning Ayers’ cancer, Gunvalson decided to end her relationship with him in August. Considering the nature of their relationship in the past, and how they have broken up and gotten back together on multiple occasions, many wondered if the breakup was only temporary.
However, in light of the recent date with Walker, it would seem as though Gunvalson is moving on with her life and ready to leave Ayers behind for good. Whether or not Gunvalson has a future with Walker is yet to be seen.
While Gunvalson and Ayers did not have any children together, the reality star does have a few children from a previous marriage. This includes one daughter, Brianna, and a son, Michael, who were the result of Gunvalson’s marriage with Michael J. Wolfsmith back in 1983. Additionally, Gunvalson was also married to Donn Gunvalson for a ten-year stretch between 1994 and 2014.
