Chris Brown Defending Karrueche Tran After Costume Diss? Singer Asks Fans To Stop Harassing Ex

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran may have gone their separate ways after ending their longtime relationship earlier this year, but it looks Chris Brown's fans are still lashing out at Karrueche after she reportedly dissed Brown with an Instagram photo posted to her account over the weekend.

Karrueche Tran made headlines earlier this week after she allegedly dissed Chris Brown with a fan-created meme on Instagram, which aimed to poke fun at Brown's rumored gang affiliation.

In the now-deleted photo, Karrueche Tran is seen smiling while donning her head-to-toe blue Halloween costume in honor of Lil' Kim's "Crush On You" video with a caption that reads, "When You See Ya Ex Who's A Blood," The Shade Room reports.

While Karrueche Tran insisted there was "no shade" intended toward Chris Brown with her post, Brown's fans wasted no time in blasting Karrueche for trying to stir up trouble with Chris Brown despite Karrueche insisting she is eager to move on from her relationship with the singer.

While Chris Brown neglected to comment on Karrueche Tran's Instagram dig, Chris did seemingly hint that he was over the drama with Karrueche after he took to Twitter to ask fans to stop harassing her on social media.

According to Urban Islandz, Brown took to Twitter on Saturday in the midst of the backlash surrounding Karrueche's costume on Instagram to tell fans, "Ya'll should just stop," before promptly deleting his post.

According to a source close to Chris Brown, Chris is adamant about not engaging in any form of communication with Karrueche and is trying to avoid stirring up any further drama between them.

"[Chris Brown] is definitely trying to avoid contact with her and asked his assistant to ensure that he doesn't end up at the same place that [Karrueche Tran] is partying."
Chris Brown's insider further explains that while there's "no telling" what may occur between the exes if they were to speak to one another again, the source notes that there is still a lot of "bitterness and anger between them."

Karrueche further explained that she's learned to "block out" negative comments made about her former romance with Chris Brown, admitting that people often believe she's only famous because of her longtime relationship with Chris Brown and his love triangle with ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.

While Chris Brown may have initially tried to reconcile with Karrueche Tran after she ended their relationship in March, sources close to Brown are insisting that Brown no longer has plans to further pursue Karrueche romantically.

Despite Chris and Karrueche's attempt to move on from their on-again, off-again relationship, Chris Brown made headlines earlier this month after he collaborated with Rick Ross on the rapper's track, "Sorry," in which Brown apologizes to Karrueche for being unfaithful in their relationship.

"Sorry, don't turn back the clock / Baby I took advantage cause I knew you wouldn't believe it, so I used you / I'm sorry, oh I'm sorry don't make it right, I know."
Karrueche publicly ended her romance with Chris Brown in March after learning that Brown had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman.

Since his split from Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown has been dedicated to fulfilling his fatherly role to his 1-year-old daughter, Royalty, and has even announced that his upcoming studio album will be named after his daughter.

Chris Brown recently denied romance rumors between himself and baby mama Nia Guzman, telling fans that the duo is simply "co-parenting" their daughter and emphasizing they are not "together" in a relationship.
