Who Is Joelle ‘JoJo’ Fletcher Of ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Season With Ben Higgins?

Joelle Fletcher is said to be one of the bachelorettes on ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season set to air this winter. Just what is it that fans need to know about this contestant, who is said to go by the nickname “JoJo”? Could she be the one to snag Higgins’ final rose at the end of Season 20?

As Reality Steve’s spoilers indicate, JoJo Fletcher is from the Dallas, Texas, area, and she is 24-years-old. Fletcher attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, earning a bachelor of applied science degree in 2011. She recently started her own real estate development company named JHF Realty Development.

Interestingly, JoJo already has some reality TV world connections. Her brother, Ben Patton, was one of the bachelors on the show Ready for Love. Ben looked for love along with Tim Lopez and Ernesto Arguello. In fact, JoJo was seen in the episode of the show when Ben brought several of the ladies to meet his family.

Not only was was JoJo and her family on Ready for Love, it seems that her brothers went to high school with former Bachelor Jake Pavelka. The Bachelor spoiler fans over at the Bach and Bachette Fan Forums also note that there may have been a short relationship between JoJo’s brother and Jamie Otis, who was on Ben Flajnik’s season and went on to be on Married at First Sight. In other words, JoJo is one contestant who should feel fairly comfortable with how this filming process works.

The dynamics of JoJo’s family seem to be a bit complicated, as JoJo and Ben apparently are not full biological siblings. Rather, it seems they are step-brother and step-sister. However, they clearly refer to one another as brother and sister and are said to be extremely close.

Patton’s Instagram no longer seems to be available, but he has shared many posts referring to his closeness with his mom and sister via Twitter and Instagram in the past, and many of the photos were shared via Reality Steve’s blog. Fletcher also has another brother named Peter with whom she seems to be close.

Prior to beginning her real estate development company in September 2014, JoJo worked as a sales executive at Legacy Medical Sales for almost three years, according to her LinkedIn page. Though most of JoJo’s social media pages were deactivated during filming of the Bachelor 2016 season, fans can learn a bit more about her via what was left available.

JoJo’s Pinterest pages show a wedding-related board as well as a food board. For food, it looks like Fletcher most definitely is a Texas girl who loves spice, and the wedding board would certainly give Bachelor fans hope that she’s joining the show with a true interest in finding the man of her dreams.

Could Ben Higgins and JoJo Fletcher be a couple to watch in Season 20? Reality Steve’s Bachelor spoilers would certainly indicate that JoJo will be getting plenty of air time this winter.

Fans will have to wait and see whether Fletcher lasts long enough to get that final rose. However, Steve feels sure that if JoJo doesn’t wind up getting engaged to Ben, she may well be a solid candidate to become the Bachelorette 2016 lead in the spring.
