Chris Brown Denies Dating Nia Guzman After Karrueche Tran Split, Royalty’s Mom Hoping For Romance?
Chris Brown and baby mama Nia Guzman may be agreeing to co-parent their 1-year-old daughter, Royalty, but that doesn’t mean Chris Brown is tolerating rumors that suggest he’s romantically involved with Guzman after calling it quits with Karrueche Tran earlier this year.
Karrueche Tran called off her longtime relationship to Chris Brown in March after learning that Brown had fathered a child while they were still together.

While Chris Brown maintains that he and Karrueche were on a break at the time of his brief romance with Nia Guzman, Karrueche insists that she has no plans to reconcile with Chris in the future and is adamant about distancing herself from Brown’s reputation.
Not long after Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran’s split made headlines, fans began speculating that Brown may be getting romantically involved with baby mama Nia Guzman in an effort to be closer to daughter Royalty.
Now, after months of battling it out with one another over a custody agreement for Royalty, Chris Brown and Nia Guzman announced earlier this week that they plan to work together and co-parent Royalty.
News of Chris Brown and Guzman’s seemingly improving relationship instantly sparked dating rumors between the duo, leading Chris Brown to swiftly shut down the rumors on social media earlier this week.
Chris Brown took to Instagram on Wednesday to ensure that fans weren’t buying into the Nia Guzman dating rumors, telling The Shade Room, “Co-parenting. Not ‘TOGETHER’. Clearing this up so there isn’t any confusion.”

Now, a source close to Chris Brown is speaking out to further dispel the Guzman dating rumors, telling Urban Islandz that Brown has never been in a relationship with Nia Guzman and doesn’t have any plans to begin dating Royalty’s mother.
“They both agreed to co-parent not be together so let’s get that straight. They are not together and never was.”
Chris Brown’s insider further explains that Brown and Guzman’s fling in 2014 was “a one-off thing between them” and that Chris hasn’t considered the idea of dating Nia Guzman since learning that Royalty was in fact his daughter.
The source goes on to allege that Nia Guzman was interested in having a relationship with Chris Brown, noting that she wanted to “be a family” after Karrueche Tran ended her relationship with Chris earlier this year.
“[Guzman] approached [Chris Brown] with the idea of getting back together and be a family for their daughter but he flat-out said no.”
Brown’s source goes on to argue that Guzman was under the impression that she and Chris would be in a relationship after Brown gave up on trying to win back Karrueche Tran, but Chris has shown no desire to get into a relationship with Nia.

While Chris Brown and Nia Guzman may not be dating, the duo has agreed to amicably co-parent Royalty after settling their custody battle in court earlier this year.
Sources close to Chris and Nia tell TMZ that Brown and Guzman are planning on taking Royalty to swim lessons, gymnastics, and dance lessons together in order to put on a united front for their child.
The source also explains that Chris Brown is eager to be involved in Royalty’s schooling and that both Chris and Nia have come to an agreement about the preschool that Royalty will be attending in the coming months.
Chris Brown was awarded joint custody of daughter Royalty earlier this year and is required to pay Nia Guzman $2,500 in child support payments each month. Brown is also responsible for paying for Royalty’s nannies, private schooling, and medical bills.
Currently, Chris Brown is working on promoting his upcoming album, titled Royalty, which hits stores on November 27.
