Leah Messer, the Teen Mom 2 star known for having various offspring with husbands one and two (Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert) recently lost custody of her twin daughters. In fighting back, Leah Messer is shocking fans with her revelations, ranging from the last time she had sex with Simms to the truth about those allegations that Messer is addicted to prescription pain pills.
Although Simms and Leah are divorced, Messer confessed that they allegedly had sex following their divorce and that those intimate relations occurred after the 26-year-old was married to his new wife, reported the Hollywood Gossip .
“Corey and I did hook up two months after they got married,” confessed Leah.
Messer also shared that although she insisted that she took anti-anxiety medication only for a few weeks following the birth of baby number three, she had lied when she said she was not addicted and had limited her drug use. Now, Leah Messer is confessing that she was, as rumored for months, addicted to prescription drugs in the form of painkillers. Messer linked getting sober to entering a treatment center.
After confessing to her affair and drug abuse, Leah is irate regarding the custody loss of her twin girls. Messer, 23, plans to continue battling to regain primary custody.
“I feel like they should have both of us in their lives,” Leah says. “At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.”
Messer also feels that Simms’ reason for fighting for custody of their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, has some dark motives, reports the Hollywood Gossip .
“I have done so much to become a better person, it was like a slap in the face,” wailed Leah.
Messer now has the twins on weekends, while Corey has custody throughout the school week of Monday through Friday.
Simms had a variety of reasons that he gave for seeking primary custody. Leah failed to get one of her daughters, who is disabled, to the medical appointments needed for her muscular dystrophy. In addition, Corey was concerned that the little girls repeatedly missed school or were late in arriving at school. Messer’s addiction to prescription painkillers and stay at a rehab facility were also seen as factors.
But, Leah Messer brushes off all those reasons that some view as the causes for Corey Simms to take his twin girls.
“I think child support has a lot to do with it,” claimed Messer. “When him and Miranda first met, that’s when he started the full-custody thing. It hasn’t stopped since then.”
Leah Messer is so determined to fight back that she’s taking some accusations and challenging them with evidence, including the claim that Messer caused the twins to be late for school or miss school, reported Us Weekly .
Messer says she feels that ex-husband Simms was wrongfully given primary custody of the 5-year-old twins. Messer says that although Simms says Aliannah and Aleeah have attendance problems at kindergarten because of Messer, it’s not true.
“Leah just wasn’t getting them to school,” claimed a source. “They were missing and they were tardy.”
Messer admits that her twin daughters were late on one occasion only. Moreover, in contrast to the reports that Leah was in the 30-day treatment center for prescription painkiller addiction, Us Weekly reports that it was for anxiety and depression, leaving open the question of whether Leah Messer ever received any treatment for the prescription pill addiction to which she admitted.
With a school board meeting arranged by Messer earlier this month, Messer denied the claims that the girls missed school.
“I talked to the superintendent, and I’m sending them the [time-stamped] pictures I took to prove the girls were not tardy. They’re going to take them off,” said Messer.
In addition to the twins, Leah is the mom of a two-year-old, Adalynn, with Jeremy Calvert, her other ex-husband. She currently has custody of Adalynn and has a goal of achieving a 50/50 custody arrangement with Corey Simms.
Simms and his wife, Miranda, will welcome what will be his third daughter in January.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Calvert may also try to seek custody of the daughter that he shares with Messer .
Jeremy seems stressed about the way that Leah Messer appears to be neglectful of Adalynn, with evidence after the little girl was discovered meandering around without an adult outside of Messer’s residence (fortunately, a police officer found her).
The news that his 2-year-old daughter had been discovered outside her mother’s home without anyone to supervise her, however, changed his level of motivation from contemplating to moving forward, meaning Messer may soon lose primary custody of all three children.
Insiders claim that Calvert would go so far as switching his profession so that he was close to home in order to protect his little girl.
