Actors Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are reportedly no longer an item.
People reports that the Amazing Spider-Man co-stars decided to call it quits after four years of dating.

An inside source opened up to the media outlet about the aftermath of their breakup – including a claim that it occurred months ago.
“There was no drama, they’ve been apart while working. They still care about each other. They still have love for one another. They are on good terms with each other and remain close.”
The report further states that Garfield and Stone have been very busy with their respective work schedules. Emma Stone will star in the 2016 Damien Chazelle-directed musical film La La Land . The film pairs Emma along with Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling for the third time.

Andrew Garfield will star in the 2016 historic drama Silence . Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film also stars Adam Driver ( Star Wars Episode 7 , Girls ), and Liam Neeson.
Garfield also has a starring role in the Mel Gibson-directed American war drama Hacksaw Ridge starring Vince Vaughn and Sam Worthington.

Back in April, People magazine reported that Andrew and Emma decided to take a break from their relationship without officially breaking up.
Reports claim that Garfield was fully involved with his hectic work schedule while filming Martin Scorsese’s Silence in Taiwan. That project apparently kept Andrew from being able to support Emma Stone at the Golden Globes and Oscar award ceremonies – both of which featured her as a nominee for “Best Supporting Actress.”
An inside source opened up about the strain that their work schedules had placed on their relationship – especially considering the fact that they allegedly were discussing marriage at one point.
“[Andrew has] thrown himself in the project to the detriment of all else. But it’s too early to say the relationship is over… Emma understands his work anxieties – it’s why she originally pulled out of Cabaret last year and only did it this year – but they’re taking a break from seeing each other. They’re both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage.”
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were both successful at keeping their relationship private – especially when it came to discussing the status of their bond during interviews.

However, the 26-year-old actress opened up slightly about her longtime beau in the May 2015 issue of Interview during a discussion with actress Diane Keaton.
Stone was responding to a quote that Andrew Garfield made about her, which Diane decided to bring up during their conversation.
“He is such a poet. [laughs] But that’s the way he writes in general. So I hear it and of course my heart swells up. And I also know that he writes things like that on a daily basis. [laughs]… Yes, he does. He’s so poetic.”
Perhaps Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone will be able to rekindle their love and restart their relationship at some point in the future. Until then, their respective fans and critics will just have to wait and see what the next chapter of their lives will bring.
