Khloe Kardashian has remained almost constantly by the side of her once-estranged husband, Lamar Odom, since he was discovered unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. Khloe and many of her Kardashian family members have rallied around the former NBA player. And now that he’s in Los Angeles slowly on the mend, Lamar owes his recovery to Khloe and the Kardashian family , as well as Kris Jenner, in Lance Bass’ view, reported People .
“I was just over at Kris’s house the other day, and, I mean, they put their lives on hold. I give it up to those girls,” declared Bass. “Love them or hate them, they really stepped up to the plate and saved his life.”
Lance revealed that Kris regards Odom like a son, and that it’s particularly difficult for Jenner to handle.
“It’s devastating. This is like her son and it’s really sad,” he added.
However, Bass noted that he’s aware of daily improvement, with all of the Kardashian family feeling hopeful about the recovery. As to what really happened, however, Lance has a prediction.
“I think we’re really going to see what went down eventually,” Bass commented. “And I think there’s going to be a lot of people in trouble.”
When Lance discovered that Khloe had withdrawn the divorce papers, he claims he fully understood her reasoning. But Bass also is hopeful that the final part of what began as a tragedy will turn into a meaningful story for many people, with a message that Kardashian’s husband could share with others.
“When anybody goes through some tragedy like that it’s going to bring you closer, and you could always tell that [Khloe] was so madly in love with him this whole time, but he had this problem. If he makes it and he comes out of this, he’s going to change a lot of lives out there and save a lot of lives. I have a feeling he’s going to really stay clean and really spread the message of living a sober life.”
For Khloe, however, the future remains uncertain. Kardashian had initially filed for divorce in 2013 , but recently made the decision to have the family’s lawyer go to a judge to request that the divorce filings be withdrawn, as the Inquisitr reported.
With the marriage legally still in effect, Kardashian is responsible for all of Odom’s medical decisions. She’s been closely involved in the multiple health care choices involved, from when to fly him to Los Angeles, where he remains hospitalized, to going with him for testing.
But now, amid the worries about her husband, Khloe also is aware that the tell-all book she wrote that reportedly includes many of her marriage struggles is set to be published, reported News Australia . Could it contain a ticking time bomb that could blow apart her slowly mending relationship with her husband?
On the cover of her book, Strong Looks Better Naked, Kardashian skips the usual Keeping Up With The Kardashiansdesigner attire to prove that the title is true if you’ve got a great naked body. And just as the title promises, in the memoir, Khloe shares what she went through to achieve that now-enviable body and positive self-image.
But the “Naked” part of that title doesn’t just refer to Kardashian’s body. She also strips off the conventional platitudes to reveal what reportedly are the serious problems that she had in her relationship with the once-great NBA player. Khloe also unveils what she learned, from his alleged drug use to his reported affairs and infidelity.
“The thing is, you can’t control other people, and you can’t control the outcome of situations,” points out Khloe.
Kardashian also revealed how she felt when, during her marriage, paparazzi dogged her footsteps, demanding to know whether her husband had an affair and if he was taking drugs. Khloe recalls feeling attacked and harassed constantly, and claims that it was so severe she suffered from social anxiety if she exited her home.
But could reading it someday forever end the relationship between Kardashian and Lamar that she seems to have resumed? It’s too late to make any changes, because although Khloe’s book release date is November 3, the volumes were printed prior to the current health crisis.
