Spoilers for The Walking Dead are something that people love to love or love to hate. No matter how much you want to enjoy the series, it’s hard not to peek at spoilers, but after peeking you end up hating yourself later for spoiling it. Still, it’s interesting to see and the spoilers for “Thank You,” this week’s episode. The third episode of Season 6 may change everything you know about The Walking Dead and include one of the worst deaths ever.
Please let it be known that there are possible SPOILERS ahead for the current season of The Walking Dead . If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.
In Season 5, four series regulars were lost forever: Beth, Tyreese, Gareth, and Bob. That’s not even counting Noah, who was also killed off, but the deaths are far from done and one of the worst is coming this Sunday.
“Lucille” has not yet shown up in The Walking Dead as she does in issue 100 of the comic, but she’s coming. Those who are not aware of who “ Lucille ” may be, well, she’s a baseball bat and she is in the hands of one of the most villainous people ever — Negan.
In the comic book, it’s Negan who kills Glenn by beating him to death with Lucille, but the villain hasn’t even shown up in the TV series. He’s rumored to be coming around later this season , but he’s still not yet in the picture.
That being said, things may be changed up a bit from the comic book as it looks like on Sunday, Glenn is going to be meeting his ultimate and horrible fate.
Yes, according to The Spoiling Dead Fans , Glenn is going to die along with Nicholas during a huge zombie attack. About 40-45 minutes into the episode on Sunday, Glenn and Nicholas are going to be seen together, and that’s when things supposedly take a turn for the worst.
“Trapped on top of the dumpster Nicholas panics. He pulls out a gun and says ‘Thank You’ to Glenn and proceeds to kill himself. Glenn and Nicholas fall off of the dumpster. Nicholas’ body is under a mound of walkers. Glenn’s body is under another pile of walkers. Glenn gets completely devoured. No one is around to see or hear him die.”
Now, this really does not make a lot of sense, but this is what is rumored to happen. The confusion comes from the fact that it really is a departure from The Walking Dead comic, but it’s not like everything has been spot on.
Still, over at The Spoiling Dead , they’re even more confused because actor Steven Yeun (Glenn) has been on the set all season. He was even on the set as recently as this week. Maybe the show’s brass were trying to keep his death a real secret or the scene/episode is a dream or something even more unexpected.
Earlier this year, The Hollywood Reporter gave Glenn a 30 percent chance of dying this season, and they’re of the belief that it is going to happen by Negan’s hands, too. Why wouldn’t they? Everyone has been waiting for Negan to show his evil face, but that doesn’t mean he has to be the one that takes out Glenn.
Many spoilers have been correct and spot on for Season 6 of The Walking Dead so far, but this one just doesn’t make much sense. Here are some other tidbits for “Thank You” airing on Sunday night.
- Numerous Alexandria newbies end up dead in the massive zombie attack.
- Rick is leading the pack back to Alexandria, but someone (The Wolves?) in an RV attacks him.
- Daryl gets separated from Abe and Sasha and starts heading back to Alexandria.
- Three people do make it back to Alexandria – Heath, a newbie, and Michionne
Episode 3 of Season 6 in The Walking Dead is going to be packed with a lot of action, some drama, and a ton of walkers. It’s also going to (possibly) bring about the death of Glenn; even if it’s a dream sequence, expect an uproar if the spoilers are true.
