Kyle Richards’ Husband Denies Brandi Glanville Is Returning To ‘RHOBH,’ Calls It ‘Bulls**t’

One person who doesn’t think that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers will see Brandi Glanville on season 6 when it airs is Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky. On Wednesday night, Mauricio told TMZ that the story that Brandi is returning to the show is “bulls**t.”

On the day the rumors broke of Brandi’s return to the show, TMZ caught up with Mauricio outside of a restaurant in West Hollywood. Mauricio is frequently shown on the show alongside Kyle, a starring housewife on the show since the very first season. When asked for his opinion on the news that Brandi has returned to Real Housewives, Mauricio expressed surprise and asked which Real Housewives show she was going to be on.

“What?! I didn’t know about this. Which country? Which city?”

Perhaps Mauricio thought that Brandi was making a move to The Real Housewives of New York City to film with her long-time friend Kristen Taekman. When the paparazzo told Mauricio that the news is that Brandi is returning to the show that he and his wife are on, Mauricio laughed and said that’s not true.

“She’s not gonna be on Beverly Hills! No she is not! Whaaaat?! I don’t believe that story. I call bulls**t. Hahahaha.”

When asked if he thinks that Brandi returning to the show is a good thing, Mauricio continued to say that he doesn’t think that Brandi is returning to Beverly Hills.

“I don’t think she’s coming. I call bulls**t on it. That’s my story. I don’t know. If she is, I’ll have a different opinion. But I call bulls**t completely on that story.”

Asked if he thinks the other housewives will welcome Brandi back, if it does turn out to be true that she’ll be back on the show, Mauricio said that he’ll have to ask his wife that question.

Earlier in the day, Us Weekly reported that Brandi Glanville is returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its sixth season. According to several sources, Brandi has already filmed some scenes for the new season. One source said that Brandi definitely won’t be returning as a starring housewife but rather as a guest who shows up from time to time. Another source said that the show’s producers decided to bring Brandi back in order to have drama and cause some excitement.

Brandi joined the show on season 2 as a recurring housewife. She then starred on seasons 3 through 5 as a starring housewife. In late June, days after it was reported on several websites that she had been fired, Brandi confirmed on her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, that she decided to leave the show. She later revealed that the show’s producers did ask her back for season 6 but only as a recurring housewife, which she rejected.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, in early August, Brandi admitted on her podcast that she’s scared and worried about her financial future now that she doesn’t have the Real Housewives paycheck. She expressed frustration that she’s back to living in an apartment and can’t afford to give her two sons the lifestyle that they have with their dad and stepmom, actor Eddie Cibrian and singer LeAnn Rimes.

“I save my money and, you know, I don’t own a house yet and we’re moving now into an apartment from a house, I feel like I’m kind of going backwards so…It’s hard because I, all I wanted to do was buy something and then, you know, the job situation turned around…”

Maybe Brandi has now decided that it’s worth it to film a few scenes if it means extra money in the bank. While she has yet to publicly confirm whether Us Weekly‘s story about her return is true, she did retweet the link to a blog’s article that recapped the information.

Perhaps Brandi Glanville filmed some scenes for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with Yolanda Foster and the news has yet to reach Kyle Richards. Yolanda, having filmed several seasons with Kyle and Brandi, is obviously well aware that they do not like one another. Last week, Brandi tweeted that she was going to hang out with Yolanda.
