Andy Cohen recently interviewed three Real Housewives of Orange County alums on Watch What Happens Live , sparking speculation that some of them may be making a return to the show in the next season. While Lauri Peterson, Lynne Curtin, and Jeana Keough each discussed various aspects of Season 10, they also revealed whether or not they had plans to return to the hit reality show.
Keough and Curtin were both included in the past season of RHOC , whereas Peterson’s last appearance was back in Season 8. That being said, are any of the women gearing up for a return?
According to E! Online , Keough was the first to voice her opinion on a possible return after a fan called in and asked her directly.
“No,” she stated, adding that if it was up to her, then she would kick Meghan King Edmonds off the show.
While Keough was clearly not making plans to return, the other two left the door open.
“Probably not,” Peterson stated, but Cohen followed her response by saying, “It’s always a discussion.”
As far as which current Housewife cast member she would like to kick off the show, Peterson said it would have to be Vicki Gunvalson.
At the same time, Curtin’s comments reveal that she might be thinking about making another appearance on the show.
“I would love to come back, of course,” she stated.
As fans may recall, Curtin has been involved with the Real Housewives of Orange County since Season 4. She left after Season 5 and has since been featured as a guest in the current season. Although she has only had brief moments on the show, her time has been filled with plenty of drama.
In fact, according to Star Pulse , Curtin’s time on the show included her discovery that her now ex-husband had not been truthful about their financial situation. This led to an eviction notice and later a divorce. Since their breakup, Curtin’s children went through a bit of a rough patch, which included her son dealing with addiction.
Speaking of her children, Curtin told Cohen that they do not allow her to watch the reality show because of all the hurt it has caused them in the past.
“They won’t let me watch the show right now,” Curtin explained in the interview. “They’re a little bit hurt by things that happened on the show with them. For the most part they’ve survived, as I have.”
Meanwhile, if Curtin does make a return to the show, she would certainly have quite a bit to talk about as fans would have a lot of catching up to do. In regards to her son’s addiction, Curtin did reveal that the situation is ongoing as he tries to fight his issues with addiction.
“It’s not good,” she stated. “At this point, our government hasn’t figured out how to handle addiction and until they figure out how to treat it like an illness instead of criminalizing it, things just aren’t going to change, so it’s really bad.”
If any one of these former Housewives decides to return to the show, they wouldn’t be the first to do so. This past year, fans watched as Bethenny Frankel made a return to The Real Housewives of New York , while Sheree Whitfield recently announced her plans to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta .
With that in mind, it wouldn’t be out of the norm to see Keough, Peterson, or Curtain return to RHOC .
While fans wait to learn if the show will be adding any more cast members for the new season, the reunion for Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights on Bravo.
