Britney Spears has been teasing about her new album dropping for months now ever since the release of the first single earlier this year. Fans are eager to find out what they can expect from the pop princess on the much-anticipated album. There’s little doubt that Spears’ efforts will live up to her past tracks and performances by offering more of her hyped up beats, edgy vocals and intriguing lyrics. The mother of two and Las Vegas must-see performer has been going full tilt, ensuring that her latest record will be what fans expect from her.
News about a cover performed and recorded by the singer, leads to questions as to whether or not the recording will be used on Spears’ latest album. Brit took some old school Ace Of Bass and pulled together a catchy cover of the band’s hit song from the 90’s, “All That She Wants.” Although the recording was allegedly recorded back in 2008 by Spears, many recently wonder if the discovery of the track could mean that it may be added to her latest release.
Metro relays that this is not the case. The recording was merely completed and tossed aside, yet is worthy of a listen as Spears brings her own unique style and lyrics to the catchy song. The publication shares a definite, unified sentiment echoing Britney fans around the globe.
“The song was never released and barely even saw the light of day, a wrong that definitely should be righted. The original song was released in 1993 by the Swedish group and it peaked at number two. It’s never too late, Britters. Get it out there now!”
Ace of Bass group members were all for the cover making it into Spears’ album back around the time it was recorded and member Ulf Ekberg confirmed he was aware of the recording back in the day. He spoke with ABC in regards to the catchy cover.
“[Spears] never finished and didn’t end up on her album. It was cool though. She took the choruses, took away the verses and wrote new ones about her mom. It was very strong.”
The original song had a steady run at the top of the charts for weeks internationally back in the early 90’s. As popular culture hearkens back to that era in the present day, the track definitely should be considered for reevaluation and added to Spears’ upcoming efforts.
Whatever Brit decides to drop and whenever it happens, it’s long overdue and fans will be ready for the beats and tour dates. The songstress, with her Vegas show renewal, has noted she has a lot on her plate but is working to get the album out soon. In addition, the pop princess has found herself some new digs that are fitting for Brit’s reported tastes.
Forbes Magazine shares that although Brit spends a good deal of time in Vegas due to her residency, which has been extended recently into 2016, the diva has decided to lay down roots over 300 miles away from Sin City.
“The princess of pop—who ranked #82 on Forbes’ 2015 Celebrity 100 list with an income of $31 million—just sealed the deal on a $7.4 million 13,264-square-foot mansion situated on roughly 21 acres of land in Thousand Oaks, California (a stone’s throw away from a 8,456-square-foot Hacienda-style haven she picked up in 2012 for $6.7 million).”
The new dwelling consists of five bedrooms with seven and a half bathrooms. It has marble flooring to welcome guests in its entry foyer and the remainder of the great room is carpeted but very open thanks to the 35-foot-high ceilings and grandiose fireplace. Spears’ home is situated in a gated community on an enclave and boasts an Italianate villa style.
Brit has certainly worked for her new space, her extended residency and success on her upcoming album.
