In October Kiss, we’re introduced to Poppy, a carefree young woman whose failed careers have left her wondering what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Realizing that she has a knack with children, she decides to become a professional nanny to a family in need. That’s when she meets the handsome Ryan Lawson, a widower who is obsessed with work. But, Poppy may be biting off more than she can chew with his children — two little rascals (Zoe and Zach) who stop at nothing to make their new nanny absolutely miserable.

According to Nice Girls TV , Ryan’s children resent the fact that he is bringing another woman into the home, as if he’s trying to find them a new mother. Luckily for Poppy, what starts out as a rocky relationship between her and the children turns sweet as Zoe and Zach start to cherish the time they spend with her.

Plus, Poppy’s ability to make the home a cozy place — with her talent for decorating and her scrumptious recipes — endears Zoe and Zach to her even more. But, she is not only making a connection with the children, she also sets her eyes on Ryan. Their daily activities seem to be bringing Poppy and Ryan closer together, until another woman shows up with the goal of nabbing Ryan all for herself.
